Smart Finance have provided an excellent service for us to get our mortgage, they kept us informed step by step and got us the best mortgage. This company is a absolute joke, do everything for you I was told? All they did was get a solicitor that was useless and arrange a mortgage, everything else you have to do yourself.
The communication from John was absolutely horrific to the point I had to call him constantly to get him to do anything.
The solicitors they used couldn't read information correctly and manage to lose documents that have been sent to them, GDPR right out the window. I send quotes through and Smart Finance or the solictor cant seem to add 5 numbers together so you have to explain that to them aswell.
When I challenged them, I was told that they were sorry for the experience that I had received and that they won't use the solicitor again.
Not good enough, I paid alot of money for a service that was very poor.

I would highly recommend Smart Home Finance to anyone looking for a mortgage broker. John really went above and beyond for us throughout the whole process of buying our property from the council. He honestly was so helpful and really helped ease my anxieties in what turned out to be a long process due to the market at the time plus Covid. John practically did everything he could to compensate for the solicitors being so rubbish when he didn't really have to. Smart home finance is the place to go if you want a friendly, family run company that are happy to answer questions along the way and do anything to make the process less stressful for you.

I went through this company for my right to buy having never purchased a property before had no idea of the precidure but smarthomefinance took care of everything kept me well informed and up to date with how my purchase was going even when we was going through a pandemic they was still there at the end of the phone they are a very friendly and professional company would highly recommend them can not thank them enough for all the help they have given us we have since completed our purchase on the property.
