Excellent service, briliant job by Daniel. Thorough job , carried out professionally. Car looks as brand new.

Tiny stone chip and 2 tiny scratches required repairs. The guy who came round gave a number of reasons (excuses?) for not doing the work at my house and that it needed to go to a body shop. Couldn't undertsand it at all - very minor non-specialist paint job - I have a Nissan Qashqai Magnetic Blue colour which is quite common. It was an insurance job so another repairer came out and did an excellent job on site.

Don’t use SMART repairs. The work they did on my car was so so terrible. They tried to correct it and made it worse. Buy yourself rattle can from Halfords and you’ll do a better job yourself.

SMART Repairs offer a substandard quality of work and meet a very low bar in terms of customer satisfaction.

SMART Repairs were unfortunately appointed to carry out a minor repair on my new purchase from KIA dealership in Gloucester (Wessex Garages), the standard and quality of this repair was embarrassingly bad, lacquer peeling, poor colour match, paint and lacquered over dirt, contaminates in the paint, scratched chrome trim in multiple places, poor finish in general (orange peel) plus they covered the entire vehicle in over spray where they made no preparation effort at all. I would strongly advise not using this company for any repair no matter how minor, please use a professional company with employees that are professionally trained.
I have now been lumbered with a £2500 bill to get these poor repairs professionally corrected.
Their regional key account manager Steve Clark assures me they are happy with this standard of this repair and are not willing to work with me to put this right.

I had a smart repair done on a minor stone chip on a bonnet of a brand new Audi as part of the cover I took out for such. The so called repair carried out could have been done better by a child with a touch up pen.. I cannot make out where the smart bit comes in, it must be the fact that the insurance company pays for such work. The repairer dabs some paint on, does not level it and declares job done. I thought I had just had a bad experience but when the area manager came out, he said the work was satisfactory. Really disappointed. I cannot recommend. In todays world I like to leave positive reviews when viable and effort has been taken to acheive a good result. The only effort taken on this job however, was driving to the job. Be honest to your customers, tell the customer that the repair cannot be done to a decent standard and walk away, that's better than doing a repair and leaving the car in a worse standard than before you started.

Excellent job on the bodywork repair for my Hyundai Tucson which I am very happy with the result. Dave was polite and professional throughout. Would definitely recommend him.

Avoid this company and any insurance company who enlist their services.

I have had 4 separate repairs to my car and not a single one has been satisfactory. When you raise a complaint you are just fobbed off.

Absolutely dreadful experience. My brand new car had a small door dink which should have been easily popped out. The technician decided instead to mess about with it to the point that the whole door needed repainting. However when he did that he left a large orangey coloured area where the dink originally was. An area manager was sent out to repaint that door and apparently the rear door also needed to be done as well! He guaranteed that the car would be back to brand new… end result is the car now has a crease and small mark on the original door and running paint marks on the other. The car now needs to go to a proper body shop to be repaired. One tiny door dink has now become a full body shop paint job on two doors on a brand new car! They damaged my car and I am devastated. Avoid this company!

I've used Smart repairs a few times for paint work and alloys and they never let me down. Great customer service and really easy to deal with!! Highly recommended.

Just saw one of this company's van parked in a public parking lot in King's Langley, station towpath off road car park. After they left 20-30minutes later, a white massive builders bag appeared full of car rubber hoses (old and ripped). The van appear few houses away, probably thats where the driver lives. Charming, huh? So company doesn't have proper disposal services or hires some scums. So yes, hire them and find whats been cleared from you in the parks, forests, maybe canals or rivers. Highly professional seems to be.

I’ve had Chris Letts out a few times now due to nightmare Brighton hills/kerbs. He’s always punctual, in good spirits and does a great job. I would highly recommend his work.

Smart Repairs were appointed by our insurance company to carry out work on three alloy wheels, the three wheels had scuffs and one of the wheels had a previous repair which had failed ( the previous repair had been dealt with by another insurance appointed company).
The operative was pleasant and seemed keen to get on with the work, but after a call to his office we were told that none of the work would be carried out, the reason given was that they would not correct work that had been previously carried out by another company.
This seemed crazy as only one of the wheels had been previously touched, and the insurance company had been given this information prior to the visit.
Having spoken to the insurance company after the guy drove off we were told that he should have carried out the work regardless of previous issues.
Very poor service and time wasted, I took the morning away from work in order for the car to be in one place.
I can only assume they get some kind of void visit payment from insurance companies.
