I had two wisdom tooth taken out. Both times the dentist was very kind and very professional. The rest of the staff are also nice and helpful. Even tho I was nervous, the extraction went fine and I did not feel any pain at all. I definitely recommend!

I visited smiles in Galway Middle Street for an emergency appointment when my front tooth crown fell out. The appointment was on time, the dentist was very knowledgeable and gave me good insight, why my crown often falls out. Super friendly receptionist too.

I can only talk about the Wexford branch but my experience was excellent. Staff are all very nice and always friendly.
Kaled did my braces and I can't reccomended him enough. Yusaf was my hygienist and he was excellent also. The office team and the nurses were very good too.

Just been informed I have decay on a front tooth which has been there for four years I was told it was only a mark after falling over and damaging the tooth. Every time I went I asked if it was okay.
Also got letter about missing an appointment on the day a broke my wrist was told this wouldn't happen it's the Southampton branch I will not be going back. Especially since if they have to xel they don't let you know.

Lovely dentist Kate I'm very nervous patient and put off by other dentist in different places I would highly recommend Kate she made me so comfortable and relaxed that I got the tooth out that has bothered me for along time so happy I went so I'm no longer afraid it will be Kate that's my new dentist if you are nervous patient like me highly recommended Kate for you

Not honest with insurance coverage. Billed twice. Was covered. Insurance company had to call them for refund. And again because they didn't code right and they refused to do it again so billed us. My opinion is to stay clear from them. Wish I could rate 0.

I went for Zoom whitening at Blanch branch. It wasnt cheap and I wasnt fully informed of the effects of the product.

I used the product for 2 weeks as advised. It caused great sensitivity as it stripped the enamel from my teeth. I was advised to use Sensodyne if sensitivity occured.

I once had strong, generally stain resistant teeth prior to this. They now stain very easily as the enamel is gone and are far more sensitive.

I would advise you to enquire about this if considering Zoom whitening.

As for me, I am left with very off white teeth and a lot of left over product that I would never use again.

I wouldn't go there again. I have had problems with dentures fitting properly. In the end I had to adjust them myself. Filed the bumpy bits off with dremel. I have returned several times and told the technician what is wrong but have been completely ignored, he knew best. A complete waste of £1300. Have adjusted them myself. Find a reputable dentist or technician. I don't think they have the experience and are just in this business for the money. I'm very disappointed. Thought I would get a superior service paying private but won't be fooled again

I needed a lot of work having never been to a dentist in all my 40+ years. They fixed me up without any need for an extraction and continue to provide excellent care and advice. They are concerned with your comfort and well being while you are in their chair and I couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you Amna Saquib for being so kind and providing me with brilliant care. You remember your patients, even small personal details that most professionals wouldn't remember. You're the best.

Attended smiles Dundrum as previously had a good experience, however, the dentist did not introduce himself, had a terrible attitude where he did not explain anything he was doing or reasoning behind any decisions. I felt extremely uncomfortable for the entire visit.

I needed a filling replaced as it was old and had fallen out. When the work was done and I went to pay I was shocked. I was charged €220 for one filling! and a €12 covid charge as if I wasn't charged enough already. So a total of €232 for one filling. The whole experience was rushed and an absolute robbery!! I will never return

Worst dental practice I’ve ever been to. As soon as I stepped in I was balked at to use hand gel, no friendly hello in spite of their name being “smiles”. Staff were cold and lacking compassion. New patient form asks if you’re a nervous patient, which I stated I was, it seems the dentist doesn’t actually see this, or she doesn’t care. I tried to be warm and friendly during the appointment, laughing here and there, but the girl (Siobhan) was very robotic and far from friendly, I felt like she wanted me out as fast as she got me in. Her nurse was also lacking in competence; while using the air tube she frequently sucked at my tongue and jabbed me in the gum. €40 for the removal of a retainer is fine, but another €51 on top for simply glancing at my teeth and poking around for 2 minutes is extortionate. Definitely won’t be returning.

I wouldn't go here again. I don't believe they have the best interests of customers at heart.

They are too focused on extra charges and quotes for work that you don't need.

I visited Smiles O'Connell street and I got a filling. The dentist was professional and I was happy leaving. After the local anaesthetic wore off, I could feel what felt like a big gap left in the side of my tooth, so I phoned and booked in to have it looked at, as it was catching food whenever I ate also. When I went back, the dentist told me that there was nothing wrong with the filling and that I should floss after every meal. As I work long hours and often get very short breaks, this isn't always possible and I just needed my tooth properly filled. After telling a friend about my experience, she told me that she had the exact same experience with her filling in the same branch of smiles! I believe this big chain of dentists look after their patients in such a way as to create more future business for themselves. I have since taken my business elsewhere and had my tooth filled properly.

Great experience with my dentist however when I learned of the new charge of €18 for PPE I was disgusted - they had to wear PPE anyway so why a new charge? And the amount they charge would cover PPE for 20 visits or more - disgraceful behaviour to put in your loyal customers in the midst of a pandemic

Smiles dental in dunlaoghaire is a pleasure to deal with. The receptionists are lovely and so helpful. My dentist Ebi is so great and patient with me as I can be a bit nervous. He goes above and beyond in his care and even rings you to make sure you're recovering OK after an extraction! They are very reasonably priced and very transparent about costs
