When I went in I was greeted by every member of staff I passed. Got up to the bed department and met frank who listened to me without interrupting. His knowledge and care was second to none. Most helpful with each question. Happy to have ordered a bed and could not fault the service or care. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great service from the team especially Andreas. Nothing was too much trouble and lots of options for dining chairs and tables were shown. Excellent information and advice offered and made my experience at Smiths outstanding.

Excellent service, product, and delivery! We were met with friendly faces who were more than willing and ready to help us with our search for a chair to help my dad during a particularly difficult and sensitive time for our family.

Olly quickly mobilised his team (I believe it was John who helped us), and together they found us the perfect one that both suited our needs and looked exactly how we wanted to match our existing decor!

As our requirements meant we needed something quickly, and we were so so grateful to have the delivery within the week. It's also worth noting that the delivery people were a complete reflection of the care and excellence we experienced in the store, thank you!

Helpful, friendly staff, who approached us to see if we needed assistance, and then gave us time to browse the store, without feeling pressured. On hand when we needed clarification of colours and sizes and when we wanted to purchase something. Clean store, furniture well spaced for browsing. Quality furniture.

We visited Smiths today 27 November 2025. We were greeted by and served by Christopher who was extremely helpful. He covered all aspects of a three piece suite ensuring we were aware of sizes and materials. We ordered one following our discussion. Smiths have a very large selection to choose from. We had visited other retailers but none compared to the excellence of Smiths.

We spoke with Christopher regarding purchasing a leather chair. We were delighted with how friendly and knowledgeable he was with great attention to detail. He went out of his way to gain the information we needed.
We had no hesitation in placing an order with him.

Absolutely blown away with my new sofa !!
I chose the Ercol Forli chaise in Moss green and it’s come better than I anticipated . It’s class and the quality is superb.
The staff at Smiths of Harrowgate helped me when I changed my mind with the colour last minute and I am so grateful to them for sorting this.
Going forward, my family and I will not be buying furniture anywhere else

We visited Smiths furniture store yesterday and from the start we had a very friendly and positive experience. This is such a lovely shop. John was very patient and let us look at all the beds with no pressurised sales which we liked. The prices were clearly marked and we chose one which was comfortable for us within our budget. We liked that there was a good choice of beds with natural fillings which we were looking for. I was greeted by Paul & he walked me through the process of buying a sofa He came over as very knowledgeable & honest.
The store is full of quality whatever you are looking for we soon found what we wanted that was easy and our new sofa was delivered yesterday improving on the estimated delivery time. The delivery team was like the store professional it was put together and set up for us in no time with all packaging collected up and taken away. My Wife and I are over the moon with our new sofa and a store that we will always visit first in the future.
