I came to Elsie at SMP Queen of Scalp in Newport Beach for scalp micropigmentation (SMP) to address thinning hair, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish.

I completed 3 sessions about 10 months ago. Each session lasted about 3–4 hours and was surprisingly relaxing and completely painless. Elsie’s meticulous approach and attention to detail really stood out. She’s focused on creating the most natural-looking results possible—replicating actual hair follicles rather than simply adding pigment to the scalp.

What truly sets her apart is her care and professionalism. Since my initial treatment, Elsie has checked in with me several times just to see how I was doing, which really speaks to her genuine concern for her clients' wellbeing.

Today, I came back for the complimentary one-hour touch-up session she includes within the first year, and I was reminded again why I trusted her with this in the first place. She continues to stay ahead in her field and is now studying to become a trichologist, which shows her dedication to constantly improving and deepening her expertise.

Her pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of her work, the thoughtful follow-up care, and the value of the included touch-up session. Scheduling can take a little time due to her popularity, but it’s well worth it.

Best of the best. I went from a hopeless person to a brand new woman! Youthful with thick hair fully regrowth. From the consultation to my very first PRP, it took only a month. If you are thinking that it is long, nope, just wait until she gave you the prep. list and you’ll be in awe as she was so neat and descriptive yet on point on how to prepare yourself before coming in to the first session. Not only my scalp suddenly grows hair back but my full body has also transform for a healthier version.
