Charged for a service I didn't sign up to
Received a text to say I'd signed up to their service (I had not) so I emailed them immediately to complain. They said they couldn't find my number and that I wasn't on their database so no subscription would be charged but I have been charged 3 x £2.99. I've asked Vodaphone to block the number and they have been very helpful and blocked it for me. I have no idea how Snackgames is still allowed to operate! Complete scam.
Scam,avoid at all costs
Scam service
Scam service. Originally ignored the phishing-looking text message, but then later noticed on my Vodafone bill after coming back from holiday, I've been scammed over £20 during two months.
Vodafone refused to help and asked me to sort it out on my own as it's a 3rd party service. So now I have to chase after whoever stole my money. How can it be made that easy for scammers to charge things to the phone bill?
Scam
If you get a text, do not reply. Call your provider and get it sorted with them. Report them to action fraud and the ICO (information commissioners office) for breach of data protection without prior consent.
COMPLETE SCAM!!
COMPLETE SCAM!!! recieved a text saying i had subscribed to snack games, ive never even heard of them. For theyre own sake they better not have taken any money from me. Cant these brainless wonders go and get a proper job and stop pissing everyone off.

Scammers never subscribed but got my number from somewhere. Why haven't they been closed down or have a proper op in to stop fraud?
Snack Games: scam
I suddenly received a SMS saying that I'd signedup for Snack Games for £2.99/week. I most certainly had not, and was just walking down the street in Paris at the time.
I then contacted Vodafone via their web help, who assured me that I wouldn't be billed.
I was billed twice. I then called Vodafone, who sent me a credit and I texted STOP to their number. Vodafone reimbursed that charge also.
I reported them to the PSAuthority UK.
Yesterday they tried to call me, leaving some rambling voice message and a request to call them back to their expensive premium rate number.
These guys are scammers. Be sure to report them to the PSAuthority and to your phone provider.
How to claim refund
I sent text to stop subscription. This cost me 12 pence. I contacted snack games customer support by email to complain I had been subscribed to their service without my knowledge and that I wanted my money back. Snap games asked me to take a screen shot of my phone service provider to confirm my address and issued me a cheque. You can get your money back!!
I have contacted my mobile phone service provider and they have put a block on subscription to any premium rate numbers.
After digging around I found out my 2 year old son had pressed on a 'bird pop up' whilst watching YouTube videos, which automatically started subscription. I have since deleted you tube app.
This company is nothing but a scam
This company is nothing but a scam. They send you a text saying you've subscribed to their games. (Which you haven't.) If you unsubscribe, they get confirmation of your phone number and start changing you monthly fees.
Contact your mobile provider and have them blocked and any charges reversed.
SCAMMERS!!!!!
SCAMMERS!!!!!
I would have given minus stars if that had been possible.
I too have been scammed by the £2.99 a week on my mobile contract (EE).
I spoke to EE a couple of months ago when i noticed an £11.96 charge , that has been appearing on my bill I don't actually know how long this has been going on for. (i would need to check all my previous bills)
They said it was something that had been subscribed for, when it HASN'T!
On that call EE told me that they would cancel all subscriptions on my account , as I said that I was ending the contract with them.
I have just received another bill for £11.96.
How can these companies get away with constantly ripping of people and the authorities or mobile phone providers do absolutely nothing about it?!
I want every penny refunding that they have fraudulently taken form me.

Fraudulent scammers
Fraudulent scammers. This company set up a subscription from my phone for a "game service" without my consent or knowledge. After unsubscribing they resubscribed me without my permission. This business model is completely illegal. I will be paying the relevant court fees to launch a case against them, I suggest you all do the same rather than allow these criminals to continue to pollute the market.
SCAMMERS
I would give no stars charged me £2.99 the total in 2 weeks was £5.98. First of all I dont have this app at all or never heard it. I saw the bill on my 02 which I do not know how so its a scam! I dont know how they can put a bill on 02 if I did pay for their serivce it would have been from my paypal or android account. AVOID AT ALL COST SCAMMER!
Signed me up to a weekly £2.99 even …
Signed me up to a weekly £2.99 even though i never clicked or subscribed to anything. O2 refuse to give refund and recommended that I should call the 3rd party. Disgraceful!
Do NOT pay Snack Games scammers
Welcome to the Snack Games scam! I hate scammers and my principle is never to give a single cent to low life scumbags. If so far you have been unwillingly subscribed for their £2.99 snack game weekly payment system, here is what you do:
1. DO NOT send STOP to their number. They will charge you for that and therefore you're financing their scam activity. Additionally, they will identify you as a cooperating victim and subscribe you to the next subscription such as music, football, etc.
2. contact your mobile operator and tell them to block snack games (or all third party services)
3. tell your mobile operator to refund or cancel the payment. Legally speaking, there was never a purchase agreement between you and the service provider.
Only when network operators are paying from their own pockets for these scumbags they will finally do something against it. As for now, the only thing they tell is to send the STOP message.
I personally have been charged £10 for this game site that doesn't even have games, it's not money but as I said, I hate scumbag scammers more than anything else. Imagine if I walk on the street and snatch someone's £10, and tell him to give me a pound if he wants me to STOP doing that... I would belong in jail and so do these low life parassites.
SCAMMERS! They stolen people money!
They are SCAMMERS!!. I was forced on a caos to call to remove myself . As they enrole really easy your phone intentionaly with 2 clicks, them they charge you to remove your phone after!! I cannot believe that they can do something like that and stole people money. I do believe a lot of old people and not familiar people are stolen each day by this guys!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!

£14.95 later I noticed on my o2 bill …
£14.95 later I noticed on my o2 bill under Things You've Bought weekly subscription £2.99 occurring every Monday. The pain is that I now called o2 to stop payment - they wouldn't take any responsibility for the scam, had to call the Snack Games scammers and after stopping subscription, received an email asking me to provide them with my o2 bill with my fees and address on, in their own words: "to avoid fraudulent and spurious claims."
as if I'm now the person who has to prove my honest intentions.
I'm not getting paper bills and my o2 billing app doesn't have my address on. Waiting to hear back from them.
Absolute Joke and o2 should get more involved. PLEASE BE AWARE AND STOP THE SUBSCRIPTION as soon as you see the text - I thought they were scams on their own and would not text Stop worrying I would get charged just for texting as I was not aware my son had clicked at something without any password or further details to be inserted.
Wasted my time and still no guarantee I will get my money backl
