Ward staff is (falak khan) good but post operative staff is so frustrated i thik they have willing issue about doing things or helping patients. Thanks I believe it's changed something.

Excellent service from SNH re: kitchen mixer tap

Recently bought a mono kitchen mixer tap from SNH. I couldn't more happy with the service from SNH. I had a slight hiccup with the colour of the received item. Manufacturer error rather than SNH. Well the customer service people were brilliant in resolving my issue and promptly delivered the correct tap and collected the erroneous one simultaneously. It could have been an issue but, in this instance, Sarah at SNH was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. In the end, I got my tap at a great price. Thank you SNH.

Customer blamed for their incompetence

I popped into the store in Birchington to get books on radiators and was given three books to select from. We chose 3 radiators from their own catalogue ( a small booklet with what looks like possibly the owners of the company on the front cover). We clearly marked in the book which radiators we wanted; 3 x three column rads and called them up to place the order.

They arrived last week as two column rads, so we called them to make them aware of their error and spoke to someone called Darren. Darren checked into this and advised me that we ordered two column rads going under the brand name EastBrook and told us the part numbers that we supposedly ordered. I advised Darren that we don't even have an EastBrook catalogue let alone the part numbers for them. We provided the part numbers from a small catalogue mentioned earlier.

Darren essentially said that we ordered them incorrectly, saying we gave them a part number and they supplied it. I said how can we give you a part number for a product in a book we have never seen. He said snh never make errors, they never get it wrong, saying that we made the error and if we want to return them it will cost us £250 restocking fee.

I am genuinely bewildered that a company can treat customers like this. I was originally going to order them online from another company but I thought I would give a local trade my business, what a mistake. The guy that originally took the order must have written the numbers down and made a mistake or substituted what I requested from their catalogue with something else (they thought was the same, but turns out was not). I get it, people make mistakes, I would not blame them for this, but to accuse us of making the error and then saying we can fix it for £250 just adds insult to injury. Why should I have to pay £250 to remedy their error?

I have to live with these rads now but I will never use snh again, I will definitely be telling this story to others and I will also leave reviews online about the terrible customer service they provide. I hope it was worth it for them, I hope you feel better about it Darren, safe in the knowledge that you are perfect and never make mistakes, that must be a nice place to be, they say ignorance is bliss, but what goes around comes around.

I ordered my items 1st thing on Thursday Morning, the items was delivered by 10am the following day, with no problems at all!

Dodging warranry liability

Disappointing reply from them regarding warranty issue they are required to offer by EU directive for a minimum of two years and by UK sales act "last reasonable time". They are trying to pass a faulty bearing issue as a user serviceable item. They are dodging their liability. I will never do business with them again.

Good service

Helpful advice over the phone, fast delivery.
Decided to return item - they organised prompt pickup (I had to pay for pallet but that's fair enough) collected as arranged and refund just one week later, no problem.
Fair, friendly, good to do business with.

Appears to lack quality control!

Ordered a Dimplex oil filled radiator. Arrived damaged and given that the outer packaging was ok one would suspect it wasn't properly packed. This was confirmed as the internal packing that would have protected the damaged part, the control panel, was missing. So presumably this item had been opened previously. Advised SNH who promptly arranged collection and replacement; unfortunately the second unit also arrived damaged - again with no evidence of impact on the external packaging. Gave up and ordered a radiator from Amazon which arrived the following day in perfect condition. I will give SNH one star for refunding my money so quickly but no more, given all the inconvenience I was caused!

BEWARE!!! Appalling Products and Customer Service

I am shocked that this company has even one decent review!! I am convined they are paying an external company to write their good reviews. Appalling attitude.

Our gas fire order arrived late, wrong fire was sent out and then happened to be faulty! Customer Service phone number just rings out!!!! Nothing but headache and headache since I starting dealing with this company.

I have contacted TRADING STANDARDS who have informed me that they have a number if ongoing complaints against SNH.

Save yourself a lot of stress and do not deal with the unprofessional so called company.
