Shoes were described as leather and were some cheap and nasty synthetic substitute that tears like tissue paper, they were poorly made, tongue we sewn in crookedly in 1 shoe, run a mile, this stuff is garbage.
I have a strong suspicion that the reviews on their website were written by them

Question: I got a pair of boots as a gift. I don't see any manufacturer labels on my boots, just the European size stamp. They're very well made and I get tons of compliments. With all their design work, why wouldn't there be a "Socofy" label anywhere on them? There's no way they are repro with all the exquisite detail workmanship and real leather on these. Can anyone else post a picture of their labels if they have them? Thanks!

This is the third time I am buying from Socofy and the first 2 times I was very happy with the look and the quality. I received so many compliments and recommended the site to many people. Recently I bought 2 pairs of boots. One of them was the same model I was wearing before. They are absolutely beautiful. in 2 months the heel lift completely separated from the rest of the heel. As well, on both pairs the little parts fell off the side of the heels, exposing the white plastic material which the heels are made of. This cannot be repaired. I will not buy anymore and for sure will never recommend this company again.

I had a great experience with this site. I received the shoes 14 days after I ordered them. They are the size and style that I ordered, and they are fabulous! (I was worried, as I found this site AFTER I placed the order. But my experience was good.)
I should add this: I already had a pair of the same style shoe, so I knew exactly what size to order.

Ordered a pair of boots that were on sale. It was a case of too good to be true. They are a cheap knock off version of the quality pair in the picture. Plastic not leather, similar but cheaper patten, and no detailed stitching as on the add. Plus they look ages to actually arrive and the fit is very tight.

If feel like they misrepresent themselves!
The shoe sizes are NO WHERE NEAR what they should be. I took their word on returns (don’t) I measured my feet like they say. Ordered different sizes hoping one would fit. Nope! I don’t normally have trouble. Are they beautiful? Yes. But when the right shoe appears it should be on the left foot even when on your foot (putting it on the left was way worse) there is a problem. The returns are bs. They keep offering a percentage back to keep them. Why would anyone keep shoes that don’t fit? Stay far far away! I gave up & called my credit card company. Liars & cheats!

Be wary. I didn’t read the reviews beforehand and wish I had. I ordered shoes, payment taken but no confirmation email. The original order number I was given doesn’t exist. Their customer service email doesn’t work and their customer service contact them form says the email field is blank when my email is clearly there. I will be highly surprised if the shows come through.

I am not sure why there are negative reviews. I have ordered from companies in China off and on over the years, and I will say Socofy shipping was fast, anywhere from a week to two weeks from placing order to receiving shoes. Their products were quality and packed nicely. They got in touch with me for out of stock item providing options. They don’t automatically provide a tracking number and since I am compulsive, I wrote customer service and asked for it, they provided same day and with the time difference in China is about 12 hours, so that was rather fast in my experience. The shoes are quality, the sizes were right. The shoes remind me very much of L’Artiste by Spring Step with the quality lining in the shoe. I will say I have ordered multiple pairs and one pair did seem like it had been a return or tried on and walked around in, maybe in a store. I had to get past that and that even happens with shoes from US from major retailers, so as much as that has always grossed me out, it seems universal so I didn’t deduct a star. Other than that, shoes were beautiful, very unique with hand painting on them which creates variations and your very own shoe that is unique to you.

Buyers beware dont buy from this company. They take your money and dont ship the goods and when they have your money their customer services department dont respond to any emails when you chase them for an update.

Last year I bought a pair of boots from this company using the official website I set up an account and while it took over two months to receive the goods I was happy with the boots. So I decided in August 2021 to buy two more pairs of boots. Luckily I used my Paypal Account which I always do when making purchases on the intranet. I received an email stating one pair of boots were going to be shipped a few days later I received the one pair of boots. I waited another two weeks and then sent 8 emails to the Customer Service Team and didnt get a reply to any even though when you submit the email on their official contact us page it states you will get a response within 24hrs.

After chasing Socofy for over a week I contacted Paypal and explained what happen Paypal as always were excellent. They opened a dispute against Socofy. Within 2 hours I received an email direct from Socofy asking me to close the dispute with Paypal and they would send me refund for the boots that had not arrived they advised that there were issues shipping this product as it was not in stock. They never advised me of this until I got Paypal involved. WARNING to anyone who gets asked to do this if your in dispute with a supplier DO NOT CLOSE THE PAYPAL DISPUTE. I contacted Paypal to advise them about the email they advised me do not close the dispute if you do it CANNOT BE REOPENED even if SOCOFY do not honour your refund. Once there is a dispute in place let Paypal deal with all correspondence.

Ive gone on the Socofy official website this morning and they are again selling these boots even though they have confirmed in writing that they have not got these in stock and have issues shipping. It makes no reference on the site to these boots being out of stock. Until I got Paypal involved they didnt reply to any emails I sent and took my money without shipping the goods.

I love their shoes and have purchased about 15 pairs. However, one pair I was unhappy with and sent back with no replacement or refund. They still have my money.

First few pairs I was so happy with for colour, size and quality... But the last 3 pairs ordered has been disappointing.. One boot was different colour to other so had to dye both. One was nowhere near the colour stated: orange instead of coffee. The last pair was more a size 5/6 instead of an 8 which was ordered. Have ordered two more pairs and if there's any more problems, then I won't be buying again.

Didn’t see these Socofy reviews until after I’d ordered, so was a bit worried... Shoes arrived in good time, beautifully packed. They were exactly like the photos, a good fit and super comfy. Couldn’t be happier 😊

Ripped Off...I ordered a pair of shoes and they were just fine. So I decided to order another pair and they sent it about 2 sizes too large. I sent numerous emails. though they did finally respond And said don't worry and they gave me the address to send it back. It was $65 to send back a $72 pair of shoes. The said they would send me a lable, never happened. Now I feel stuck with this pair shoes And will have to find a way to sell them. Guess I'll do business with Amazon.

This company is terrible. The return policy is awful. The website is awful. I think they do nothing but scam people. My package came fairly quickly from CA, without any packing slip. I ordered a size 7 in a pair of shoes and boots. The items were much too big, more like an 8. The leather was flimsy on one pair and the boots were nothing like I expected. You have to contact them to get approval for returns/refunds. I had to email 4x before I got a response. Unless there is a quality defect you have to pay for shipping. Shipping to China is really expensive. They do not consider a sizing issue to be a quality defect. So I’m stuck with shoes I can not wear and out a lot of money. Shameful.

Do not order from this company. They sent shoes I did not order and sent the wrong size. This place is not honest. I do a lot of online shopping and by far this has been the worst experience. So now I have 4 pair of shoes that I did order and can not even wear if I wanted to.

These arrived today and only ordered 10 days ago so under the covid circumstances I feel that was quite quick delivery. Very pleased with them. Well made. Well packaged and came in a lovely box. Lovely vibrant colours and good quality. A little narrow across the widest part of the feet but as they are leather they will stretch a bit. Still very happy with them.

Do not buy from this company's website ever, I had the worst nightmare shopping experience from this mob, loads of promises on their webpage who they disregard completely if you have to return something.

Do not buy from the official website it is a huge scam. My husband bought me some shoes as a gift. It took 3 months to arrive. He ordered size 8 AU and they send size 40 EU which is a size larger than I wear. They claim its a size 8 but the website says its size 8 is 42 EU (also wrong). They didn't want to cooperate with a return so I went to PayPal. Eventually they agreed to a return and refund but only when they received the shoes back in Hong Kong. I sent them to the address they gave me but nothing happened. Eventually my PayPal claim was denied and the shoes returned to me (wrong address was given) I double checked with what they sent me and it was the same. It is a total scam. DO NOT buy from these people. Now I can't make another claim and I can't wear the shoes. It was deliberate action on their part I'm sure.
