We started working with Socratic Academy when our kid was a sophomore with an independent research project in environmental health but no clear path to publication or conferences. Dr. Achint Kumar was an outstanding mentor for my daughter Bhavya Dwivedi during her research project. Throughout the project, Dr. Kumar provided thoughtful guidance, intellectual rigor, and constant encouragement that greatly enriched Bhavya’s learning experience.

What stood out most was his ability to help Bhavya navigate a highly interdisciplinary topic that combined neuroscience, endocrinology, and mathematical modeling. Dr. Kumar was very patient in explaining complex ideas and helped Bhavya develop a structured approach to research. His feedback was always insightful and constructive, pushing her to think more deeply while also giving her the confidence to pursue challenging ideas.

Dr. Kumar also emphasized clarity in communication, guiding her in organizing her work, refining her analysis, and presenting her results in a structured, well written fashion.

As a parent, I truly appreciate the dedication, professionalism and mentorship Dr. Kumar provided. Also, he was very prompt in responding to queries and clarifications. His support played a significant role in making this research experience both meaningful and rewarding. I would highly recommend him as a mentor to any student interested in serious academic research.
