When I entered the store I was welcomed by friendly staff who asked if I wanted any help .. as I said I was only looking they left me alone to look around which I prefer .. I choose what I wanted and was impressed by the information given .. excellent service

Not just a salesperson.

One of the most enjoyable sofa buying experiences. A boutique experience in a large chain store.
Amelia was supportive and knowledgeable. She made us feel relaxed and fully informed of all our options. If the rest of your sales team are of the same calibre then you have a fabulous team.

Worst company Ever!!!

I wouldn’t give this company even one star if possible!
I had a £1000 sofa less than 3 months before the legs snapped twice, The swivel chair had to have the wires fixed inside (apparently hadn’t been factory fitted correctly) and after ‘fixing’ they left a gaping rip in the bottom of the chair where they had gained access to the cables! Then the whole frame started to come apart, to which they sent out someone to ‘make a repair’ where he put pva glue on the CHIPWOOD frame inside and knocked 6 inch nails through it! They said this was an ‘adequate repair’ and refused any further assistance! A total cowboy company! I also took out the ‘insurance’ on the sofa but they blamed the company for poor workmanship and the company send you back to the insurance company! It was all one big money scam! If I can give any advice; It’s steer clear of this company!!!

Would never go back there

Would never go back there. We paid £2000 for a leather sofa and chair. Within a week, the chair seat had sunk to the point that you were almost sitting on the floor. We called them only to be told it 'was the lived in look'!! After explaining it was hardly the lived in look after 1 week and a lot of arguing, they arranged for a technician to come out and look at it (weeks later). He then agreed in his report that it was indeed the 'lived in look'. Now by this time, if I was sat on the sofa and my other half was in the chair, it looked like he was sat on a stool he was that low. Eventually after a lot or arguing and quite threatening behaviour on their part, they agreed to come and put some more filling in the chair. They did this and we were so happy until 1 week later when we had that sunken feeling yet again! Their aftersales is appalling, compared to their competitor DFS who couldn't have been more helpful with our last 3 sofas (not that we had a lot of interaction with them because we didn't have to, the sofas were spot on!).

The salesman Dan is brilliant!

The salesman Dan is brilliant, he's very helpful, and not pushy at all like other companies I've been to see for sofas. He couldn't do enough for us, nothing is too much trouble whatever we asked him. We definitely recommend Dan and Sofology. Just a shame that the store in Crewe is closing down.

We bought two Fellini sofas in June on…

We bought two Fellini sofas in June on a two week delivery only got one staff on the phone are on automatic pilot couldn’t care a dam . Two deliveries never turned up contacted trading standard sent letters out to head office and Cardiff no sofa decided refund might be the best option still no refund been waiting weeks. These sofas are still being offered for sale dreadful taking money from pensioners offing no sofas and now no refund

Easy to order went to store to check out what we wanted we are very rural but so easy to order on line staff at store in Edinburgh really helpful they were not on commission so not pushing for sale quickly. Replacing 13 year old sofa with same model although updated a bit very helpful staff

What an awful company to deal with

What an awful company to deal with. Staff at store were very good.
We were told sofa is in the warehouse & money is due, well we paid booked a delivery slot & waited Email to confirm delivery between 12.30 & 4.30 No delivery!!!
Not been able to contact anyone on the day dont bother trying the web chat they dont bother to answer. This morning at 8.30 when the lines opened i rang, 19th in the que 1½ hours later i get thru. The ordered is looked at and the sofa had not even been delivered to warehouse yet " has been an error" she said, she will contact depot give us a ring within 4 hrs she says . This company are a joke go somewhere else

Well the promised phone call never came. Sent numerous Emails AGAIN!!! Still no replys even Emailed the CEO i recommend all those that have had bad service do the same. I also believe this is a nationwide problem with comments i have been reading but they still have our money. Is this company in financial trouble?

Well, had a phone call on the 23rd in response to Email to CEO delivery is booked for today 31st July as sofa is in warehouse. No contact to say what time so going back to store later to see if they can help

Fantastic service from your Crewe…

Fantastic service from your Crewe branch today. Refreshing to have sales staff that aren't in your face but are soon on hand when needed! Ordered a 3 & 2 leather sofas for £2208, a great price!
We are replacing our 20 year old leather sofas and hope that yours are the same quality as these have been.
This is an independent genuine review by a human being not a robot.

Very helpful until the sale was…

Very helpful until the sale was completed. Delivery was 4 hours late and when it finally arrived, the sofa was in very poor condition. We have been trying to return it for refund or exchange for a week now, only to be told that customer services will ring us to sort. They still haven't ring despite several promises. If this isn't sorted to our satisfaction soon, I will be taking our case to trading standards.

Closing stores

A few weeks ago, we visited the local Crewe store for an initial 'search'; the assistant who advised us was very pleasant and helpful. After visiting several other stores, we decided that the suite in 'Sofology' warranted a second viewing. However, we found that the store had been changed to a 'discount' store; apparently, they have decided to close the Crewe store, but rather than keep the stock for customers to view, this has been sold - despite the store not closing until OCTOBER. Fortunately, I had the sense to speak to an assistant,- although there were not many around, who explained the situation and liaised with the Stoke store for us - so that we did not have a wasted journey(travelling 40miles/1hour round trip to Stoke).
