Excellent customer service from linden as always. Great layout of the store with lots of choice and styles. With linden’s great service we placed our order today.Also thanks to Phil who is friendly and helpful. Great staff and lovely sofas!

We had a great experience and were allowed to freely look around the store without pressure to buy. Once we’d settled on the sofa we wanted, Daniel was really helpful and guided us through the process.

We have had an awful experience with sofology , not only it’s Nottingham giltbrook store but throughout its customer service chain.
We ordered the sofa in November. we expressed that we were moving home and it needed to go to our new address in south wales. We left the store, and realised they had ordered us the wrong sofa. We went in, told them, they rectified it. Fine.
Then - in early Jan we received a notification that we could book our delivery slot. We went to book, realised it had our old address listed. Called the number advertised to manage this - they said nothing they could do, and to call branch. Called Nottingham branch, they said they needed us to email them proof of id (drivers license/ bill??) to change our address. We sent it, told we will have to wait a week or so for a new slot. Annoying, but fine.
THEN. Another week passes , another notification ‘book your slot.’ Booked our slot, address seems ok, all ordered for the Saturday - hallelujah !! We pay to get our carpets shampooed, assemble furniture, make plans in anticipation.
But no. The evening before, receive a call from the warehouse this time. ‘Sorry your delivery has been sent to our Nottingham warehouse.’ Transferred to someone else - nothing they can do, as ‘won’t be available to move in the network for another week to Bristol depot then we will let you know’. Apparently the store had changed the delivery address, but forgotten the warehouse change??
We said this is getting silly, promised a call back within 72 hours. Another 3/4 days passes, no call back, WE call asking for an update to find out it’s now in Bristol. But have to wait atleast another 10 days to receive it?! AND to wait for another call back that they’ve requested within 24 hours - but after the 72 hr promise we have little hope.
We still have no idea when to expect the sofa, still no call back, no seeming prospect of accelerating our delivery date, and have spoken to possibly 8 different staff, all leaving notes for it to be someone else’s job to fix????
Be aware of a lot of headache at sofology. Would have been better off ordering online. Maybe. Wrong sofa, wrong address, wrong warehouse, multiple escalations and no answers. An audit of processes here needs to be carried out - and, if there’s any fairness, some kind of compensation.

Absolutely horrendous, my mother with stage 4 terminal cancer wanted a sofa she could sleep on in the day. They promised it could be delivered in 2 weeks. So far it's coming towards a month, I've had to call both the depo and the store. Today the delivered 2 halves of different sofas! Meaning more stress, and more waiting. I'm absolutely vexed. They're not hurting me but they're denying a terminally Ill woman with cancer with weeks left to live according to the palliative care team and consultants the comfort she wanted in her final stages of life. I will never buy a sofa from here ever again.

The visit to the store in Nottingham didn’t feel pressured on any of the three times we went there before we’d decided on our choice.
On the last occasion Georgeta approached us and was very professional in her approach. She explained the choices available and the extras.
Fingers crossed the delivery will live up the heightened expectations!

Having purchase 2 sofas on the Saturday we had some issues completing the purchase via the website on the Sunday. The staff at the Nottingham store where we made our purchase were fantastic and really went out of their way to try and help resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, as an IT issue it we needed to ring customer services who weren't interested in solving the issue at all. The call handler did not listen to what was being said and constantly talked over me. As we grew more frustrated we asked to speak to his manager so the guy just hung up.
The issue was eventually solved via another call, but we seriously considered cancelling the order because of the attitude of the call handler.

Customer service is really good I neede to change measurements and they did no issue and added a foot stool instead can’t wait for it to come now

Phil the sales assistant was very helpful professional and not pushy at all
I do have to make one comment however about another female sales assistant
Whilst we were choosing our purchase she said to another colleague Loudly enough for me to overhear
She said
“I’m sick of today’s customers are you, they are wan*”. I found this very offensive and disrespectful to customers including ourselves
I feel this was disgraceful behaviour and needed to bring it to your attention

Great experience from the Nottingham shop. Danni was brilliant from start to finish. She knew the answers to all our questions when we asked, offered a coffee and wasn’t pushy in selling at all. Highly recommended.
