I engaged Platinium Solar Design in July 2025 to install a Sigenergy 24kWh Battery Storage System to integrate with my existing solar PV setup. From the first contact, the experience was exceptional.
The quotation process was straightforward and transparent — no hidden costs, no deposit required, and every feature I requested was clearly detailed. Kristi-Lee took the time to visit my property to inspect the switchboard and confirm the details. She answered every one of my written questions carefully, following up both on-site and in writing.
The installation was completed earlier than expected — only four weeks after signing — and the workmanship was outstanding. The team positioned the battery exactly where I wanted it and even added custom cover panels over exposed cables at no charge, purely to achieve a more polished, professional finish.
They tested the system, demonstrated its operation, and ensured the app was fully set up before leaving. The garage was left immaculate — they removed all packaging and even vacuumed before departing.
I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism, technical expertise, attention to detail, and pride in their work. Platinium Solar Design is a trustworthy and highly competent local business that delivers what it promises — and more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, including my own mother.

In the Solar and Battery Market, the choice and options are quite fluid and daunting with new products hitting the market, Solar Choice is worth looking at if you wish to get other ideas for you intended solar solution along with the latest information and recommendations from suppliers at the competing end.

Out of the 3 recommended Solar installers, one didn't make contact, 2 emailed me, but only 1 bothered to come to my location to make a quote. After doing some research their recommended equipment seemed outdated and overpriced. I was very surprised not to receive I Want Energy as one of the 3 recommended installers as their professionalism and quality of products is excellent.
I will say that Solar Choice does have alot of useful information particularly if you're a noob to renewable energy.

A lot of good information that appears to be impartial. Solar Choice made researching our solar options easier, and gave me confidence in the brands that I decided to go ahead with.
