Went to a speed dating event on the 13th May this year and had such a great time. I was feeling so nervous as it was my first event but everyone was so lovely. I ended up having such a laugh, the event was well organised and best of all I ended up meeting my now boyfriend! I’m so glad I went and would 100% recommend

This is the second event I’ve been to with Some Single Thing and both times my experience has been fantastic. Sukh and team are so welcoming and on hand at all times for any questions, the vibe is always relaxed and the icebreakers and games are so much fun and make the whole evening worth it.
I’ve made some lovely friends along the way and would recommend coming to the events to anyone and everyone!

I was delighted that Some Single Thing organised a Coffee Morning. This is ideal for non-drinkers and improves the overall experience of meeting sober people. The timing, location and venue were perfect, and the hosts explained things very clearly from the beginning. The ice breaking activity worked, because it got people talking!

Thank you to Sukh and her team for a relaxed and casual local event at a good time of day and for a good amount of time to get the most out of it. Excellent turnout. Was surprised to learn that people travelled from afar to attend this event. Friendly team, easy to approach. It was worth going, thank you once again.

was at the Some Single Thing Lock & Key Party last weekend. SST throw great events, this is the 2nd one I’ve been to, they are well organised and a great opportunity to meet people in a fun environment. I haven’t met my match – yet! But would definitely go to another of their events again. The organisers are also great and very easy to approach. You are given a wrist band according to age category so it is easy to spot someone who is of a similar age. I think if anybody is wondering whether to go to an event like this or not, I don’t think you should hesitate. Theres nothing to lose after all!

This was my first event and I went alone feeling very nervous and anxious about what to expect. Honestly i had nothing to worry about, the hosts were supper friendly and the event was very well organised.

Although I didn’t meet my match there, I met some amazing people. I look forward to the next event.

This was the first time I attend an event hosted by the Some Single Thing Team. Everything from start to finish was really well organised. Sukh and the team were very helpful and approachable and I would definitely attend their events in the future :)

Such a well organised event. Great choice of venue, with lots of space and places to chat with attendees. Great DJ who knew to keep the volume at a pitch that allowed for conversation, made things much easier.

The organisers were also really helpful and skilled in encouraging you to mix and mingle. From entry to exit... they brought the energy, and this was a great way to naturally spread the energy amongst singletons to help engage and get the confidence to approach people & chat.

I may not have met my match at this event, but I am looking forward to a future event, especially knowing how great this one was from a setup and support perspective. Worth every penny.

Great event and well organised. Good effort from hosts and are very approachable and helpful. They’ve taken time to plan, prepare and provide a decent event for singletons.

They help if you want to speak to someone if you’re unable to. Very decent locations. It would be good to have a more speed dating set up to ensure everyone’s gets a fair chance to have contact with one another.

As a guy that was attending their first ever speed dating event, and not knowing what to expect, I had a great evening at the recent London event.

Sukh and her team were really friendly and kept everything on track and arranged things accordingly, and felt fluid. The icebreakers were helpful and I felt there was an opportunity for fun and friendly conversations.

Even though I didn't get a match from the event, I didn't feel disappointed at all, as I still felt the experience was rewarding and felt like I got to learn something about the process. This definitely motivates me to attend a future event, and I highly recommend anyone to attend SST's dating events, especially if it is your first time.

The staff who run the events for Some Single Thing are all very friendly and approachable. They are very helpful too. I'm fully aware they cannot control who attends and who doesn't attend,as dating is always pot luck. But all of the staff over encouraging words. I highly recommend using Some Single Thing. I've been to a few of their events and enjoyed myself each time.

Date coaching was a really good experience for me as I got to really understand what I want from a partner. The support on my dating profile apps was also really useful. Getting someone else's perspective in a useful and constructive way is very important when it comes to dating. Sukh is motivating and inspiring . I enjoyed my time on this course.

Sukh advertises 'select membership' on her website. But having filled out the form there is no contact whatsoever. The website states that you will be invited to a consultation, but that has never happened. This is also the experience my friend has also had so it cannot just be an oversight on their part. It makes you reconsider paying 2.5k for the elite service if this is the level of service to be expected. I envisage the team will not be pleased with this review, but sometimes the hard truth helps. When genuine singles who are ready to use your services reach out perhaps take the time to induct them?

Great event and very well organized. They managed to get a great venue and fantastic group of people together - no easy task. I will definitely go again.
