I have always loved son de flor and last year, I was able to get my first dresses. Sadly enough, I kept reading the quality was going down hill, while the prices kept rising.
I thought I was lucky, as I didn't really have any issues worth mentioning, but sadly enough, one of my dresses is made with flawed fabric.

I bought the dress in October, during one of their sales as I cannot afford the "normal" prices. I was finally able to wear it last month. When I noticed the fabric was coming apart on one of the sleeves (the weave of the fabric was coming loose!) And one of the seams was very badly made and damaged.

I contacted SDF and they agreed this shouldn't been happening and I could return the dress for a refund. I told them I really liked the dress (it's sold out) and prefer a more sustainable option and if possible not a giftcard, as I don't think I'll be able to afford one of their dresses anytime soon). Dovile asked me what I was thinking of and I mentioned hoping to get a partial refund so I could bring it to a local tailor.

Now I don't get any responses, unless I keep emailing them. Very disappointing... I paid an excessive amount for a dress, which has a fabric flaw, as is not a wearing damage, and no help whatsoever... very disappointing

Everything I have ever gotten from Son de Flor has been absolutely stunning! It's almost exclusively all I wear now. I love their dresses (especially the Darcy dress!!) and all their skirts. Their newest petticoat with the ruffled neckline is a new favorite. And I absolutely love their Navy Blue and Marsala Red fabrics — a must in pretty much every style in my wardrobe. I definitely want more than I can afford from this brand, but they are worth the planning and investment. Lovely quality, great customer service, wonderful pre-love sales. I couldn't be happier! There seems to be a problem with SDF regarding inconsistant sizing. Skirt waistband size for the Classic Skirt has decreased twice over a few years. First I was an XS, then that reduced by 2". Then I was a size S, which has again reduced by 2", so now I will have to order a size M to get the same 27 -28" waist measurement. This over a period of around three years. As well, the company does not pay for return shipping, even in situations like this. On their size chart my waist measurment should fit size S. However the size S just sent to me has a 26" waist measurement unstretched (it is elastic) compared to previously bought skirt within in the last year. The previous skirt in size S had a 28" waist measurement unstretched. Further, I was told the discrepency is due to 'finishing' or washing the garment after it is sewn. That some garments shrink more than others. To me this isn't acceptable. It is also prohibitive to return the garment from Canada back to Lithuania. I also feel that Son de Flor saying the sizing issues are 'slight discrepancies' is an attempt to minimize and downplay the problem. 1/4 to 1/2 inch discrepancy is a slight discrepancy. 2" is a complete size difference. From S down to XS.

Great quality and lovely dresses. I've ordered three times already this year. The quality is great and after several washes the color stays the same. The order usually comes very fast (I'm inside EU), but I hope that we can get other delivery options soon (like DHL pick-up stations) because until now UPS service hasn't been good. Other than that really worth the price!

Man wartet sehr lange auf die Lieferung. Beim letzten Mal habe ich über 8 Wochen gewartet. Mir wurde keine Teillieferung geschickt, trotz Rückfrage. Er hieß nur, ich kann die Sommerkleidung, ja dann im nächsten Sommer tragen. Sehr schade…

Long wait for the dress, but it's beautiful, and fits better than I was expecting. I find Son de Flor's sizing to be quite unusual, but I usually wear a UK16 to accommodate a large bust, and the 4XL wrap lays close to flat without the shoulders being too wide
