Chris was fantastic at walking me through every part the process of buying my husband's watch. He was prompt at replying, patient at answering all my questions and made me feel confident to buy with him online.
Living in Northern Ireland, and he in England, I was not able to view the watch in person....so had to rely on WhatsApp video imaging and to trust his description as accurate.....which didn't disappoint. I recently purchased a vintage watch from Chris at Sonning Vintage Watches. The transaction details were thoroughly explained before purchase and the watch was promptly shipped. The shipment was to the United States and the watch was expertly packaged and protected. All communications from Chris were professional and prompt. I'm extremely happy with my purchase from Sonning Vintage Watches and would buy from them again with no hesitation.

I actually found this page accidentally while I was looking for a vintage watch which I could wear with a suit. Making a purchase purely over the internet is common standard today but for a rare timepiece with a certain price tag it really needs trust. I went through several ratings of Sonning and at the end of the day it was the response I received from Chris to my questions and the calls we had which did convince me to go for it. Always very friendly, supportive and reactive to all my questions and this in no time.

I finally bought a 1972 Rolex Date Just, which looked in real life even better than on the pictures and certainly worth the money spend. It was delivered via DHL insured parcel with tracking number and delivery notification and arrived perfectly safe in a nice leather box with multiple layers of protection around.
