The good experiences outweigh the bad overall

The good experiences I've had with Souq outweigh the bad overall. It really depends on the customer service advisor you get. Some are just awful: clueless and/or lazy. But, when you get a good advisor, they can resolve your issue instantly. My biggest bane is the collection centre option - sometimes they will only offer one in Fujairah when I'm based in Dubai. Surely Souq run delivery trucks between all their collection centres?!

Very very unsatisfactory customer service

I have been a customer of souq.com in the last 3 years... and occasionally I would buy things that I needed and find reasonable priced. But this year is the worst time that I had experiences with them that are truly unacceptable for customer service. In a period of 3 months, some orders that I have paid for were cancelled and I was not even informed. I had to send them email when the items are not being delivered to me after 1 week. In one incident I ordered for 7 items and they delivered only 6, when I asked them through email --- they only replied to me after several follow ups that they will return the amount in my souq account so that I can use it to buy another product. It was only around 60aed I guess... so I had no choice but to use it and purchase again. But other incidents, I complained for an item that was deceiving in the website. They asked me to return the item so I gave it to the collecting courier and they told me they will return my money but in the last 3 months they did not return my money and I made a follow up many times... after a month of following up. Nobody answered me on that anymore. Another item was cancelled and I was never informed about that. Only wen I filed an online complaint. Again they informed me that they cancelled the order because they can not supply the item, and did not return my money. They do give you an authorization code for the refund, but for my bank where the debit or credit card was tied with --- their authorization codes are useless. Because no money to begin with was being returned. Customer service in that company is very unsatisfactory to the point of unacceptable because they never called. Even if you email them to please call you back, they will not. They will only answer you in the 1st 1 to 3 times you follow up refund or file a complaint. And their email was never really there to address your actual concerns. They even sometimes give you inconsistent and obviously wrong answers or advice to your complaint or follow up. They don't care about the money the customer lost nor make an effort to gain your confidence again to their brand.

Worst customer service I have ever seen !

Honestly I was a souq.com loyal customer and this had change the last week due to the worst experience ever.
My family and I have spend more than 5000 aed on all sort of items, that being said we had many issues. One of them was the wrong delievered items. The items we wanted were apparently out of stock but not mention on the website and they didn t even call us to let us know or ask what we want to do. What they did is that from their side they did put other articles telling us that if we are not happy we can return it and that they cannot do anything more. I asked them also that i wanted to speak to the manager and the customer service confirmed me that he will call me the same day and now I have been waiting for the last 3 days. They are ignoring my demand. This is really bad and unprofessionnal.
I don t know if this happened after they have been taken by amazon but souq.com really went from being a 5 stars customer service companie to less than 1 star.
Really dissapointed.

Worst service i ever faced

Worst service i ever faced. I ordered camera on 24th Nov delivery they gave delivery date 2nd December. I gave my office address and mentioned timings 9 AM to 5 PM, didn't get it on on time and December4th night 7.30 pm delivery guy called. i asked delivery boy to deliver next day in between 9 AM to 4 PM he told he will deliver next day. but next day i also i dint get my item i called that guy he is saying today i am in other location i don't know where is your order and with whom it is.
Immediately i called souq heir response is worst and what they are saying is item got cancelled.
i asked who cancelled they are saying delivery boy cancelled.
funny part is who is the delivery guy to cancel my order.

souq customer care response is we will refund your money you can order same item from souq.
W.. it is.
Waste of time and money.

i strongly suggest don't go with souq.
they are cheating and playing with customers.

Worst Online Store

They never delivery on time and also will not keep the customer know about it if there is a delay. Also when you call them up to know the status, they don't know anything about the status apart from what we can see in the app / website. They simply give a generic / standard response saying that the delay is due to the "High Demand" !! Poor planning on stocking & delivery and they make the customer struggle. This is my 3rd order and I'm suffering without any update from them and my very 1st order itself was cancelled due to delays. It was a mistake to order from them again !!

Souq.com Worst Customer service ever!!!

Souq.com has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!!! I have placed an order on the 29th of November 2018 and up till now the 4th of December 2018 I haven't received it. I have followed up several time on my order and they can't commit to a delivery timeline. I have asked for reimbursements and they continuously ignored my requests. I have asked to speak to a manager and up till that date nobody has even bothered calling me. Is this what an Amazon company looks like? @jeffbezos @ronmou show some consideration to your clients!

Here's my review to Souq that for some reason I can't upload. Are they also filtering the negative reviews on their site? So I'll share it here: I had it repaired after a few days because when it prompted me to update the system, it restarted but all I can see is the HTC logo. I tried every trick I saw in YouTube to restart it normally, but to no avail. They picked up the phone and all accessories including the box for repair. They repaired it then after 2 weeks I got it again but the earphones are not there. I tried to contact Souq several times but there are no updates yet. I guess the seller (Teleflex) doesn't want to bother with my report because it's a small item that doesn't cost much, but of course I paid for it so it bothers me. I'm beginning to hate this seller and even Souq as well.

Fake deals they lie about every thing... I bought a mobile in black friday and they lie about delivery date... One time they tell that i didn't respond to the phone calls... Then the shippment had been lost.. Not recommended atall

Souq is useless

Souq is really unreliable and has the worst customer service ever, they do not apologize for mistakes and never compensate for my time they waste with their incompetence!! To them if you have an issue with the service just cancel it and do it again, because if you try again “maybe” it will work out for you.

1. I ordered same-day delivery addressed to my office, i called Souq at 6pm and informed that the delivery has not been made the agent to my surprise was helpful and said he can change the address to my home address so i can still receive it on the same day. The courier guy calls me at 12:30am the next day asking if I'm available at the office location, my address was never updated and he said i should just cancel and try again tomorrow.

2. For the White Friday event, Souq will give UberEats vouchers for each transactions, should receive it 4days ago via email, but it was never sent.

3. Bought a fake Anker powerbank from one of the sellers.

4. They use the worst courier services, q-express and wings

Unfortunately its the platform commonly used in UAE so i may still have to suffer, they know this, thats why they do not give the customers a great service because they know we have no other choice.

Souq .com has given me very bad…

Souq .com has given me very bad experience .....its been 4 days from original delivery date and until this moment that is not delivered..!

They close the complain tickets even before the issue is closed saying they will deliver to today, tomorrow and on and on..! As being regular customer i was quite disappointing to see how customer service handled my case so far.

And their delivery company is nightmare i have never seen courier service "WING" is a very unprofessional liars! they mentioned that they visited my location and i postponed the delivery which never happen as they were in Dubai instead of being in shariah and further their drivers are some biggest liars each time i called them they said he is on his way and at the end of each day gave false promise mentioning that they will deliver first thing in next day morning.

The most pathetic customer service or…

The most pathetic customer service or response from Souq/amazon I have ever encountered by an ecommrce portal. They have delayed the delivery of my order/shipment after the payment was processed. I spoke to one of their customer service reps and he promised a call back from a supervisor in 24 hrs but unfortunately its been 3 days and no response.

So far, so good.

I ordered goods three times from Souq.com (sellers: souqshop or DoD), they all came two days before the estimated delivery time.

I also returned some of the goods I bought (it's my fault for ordering big sizes of clothing) and they were helpful.

I do not recommend Souq

I do not recommend Souq.
They sell Brand New iPhone with Duplicate accessories in sealed box.
I advise to buy electronic gadgets from their respective brand outlets.

Do not buy anything from the following sellers especially.
(1) Remson-Store [He sold me duplicate accessories with iPhone at higher cost than the market)
(1) CDVH (He cancels the order without our permission)

Note: I will change the rating to good, If souq.com solves this issue.
