I am pleased with the voice quality and text to speech voice options.

I was looking for a text-to-speech software for my travelogue, and was recommended Speakatoo by Chatgpt5. I purchased it and it worked seamlessly even for a senior amateur like me. It was a delightful and most satisfying experience. Highly recommended. It would be helpful to have a HELP tool where one may seek guidance.

I am a blogger and have been using the Speakatoo for three months. I am impressed. It is way better than 11 Labs, and any other company in the market. Not only you get access to many voices, but top of that the customer support is also very responsive. The best text to speech app I’ve ever seen.

This is my 3rd purchase in speakatoo, amazed with their new UI and new upgrades to text to speech voices.

the voice generated is too robotic. was looking for malay voices but its either not that clear or too robotic.

Great experience using this app. Found a perfect male voice for my malayalam audio. Strongly recommend....

Update and response to Speakatoo. (UPDATE 25-08-2025)

I received an email from Speakatoo explaining that, in order to close a customer account, one must first send a request by email, and then confirm that request with a second email. Seriously? So that’s your justification for continuing to pocket money despite my request to close the account?

Furthermore, Speakatoo only refunded one month, and never once mentioned the other months that were charged. But what’s even worse: at first, I opened a fraud claim with my bank. After reviewing my supporting documents, my bank sent me a subscription statement in my name—provided to them by Speakatoo! No comment.

My bank refunded the amount that Speakatoo had carefully kept in its pocket. This company even tried to block the publication of my first review, claiming defamation.

And on what grounds do you reserve the right to deny your customers access to their payment methods on their online accounts? Again—no comment.

Since when is reporting facts, with evidence, considered defamation?

I strongly advise against using Speakatoo. And thank you to my bank. Stay vigilant. It may not be today, but it could very well be tomorrow.

Don’t trust that site!! I registered to try the service then I asked them to close my account because I didn’t find any possibility to do it myself on my account. They did I close but until today they go on to charge me each month.In my customer account there is no way to check for wich subscriptions thy are charging for neither the date. There is nowhere when I can see or delete my payment card also. That so iety is a big scam and really dishonest. I oblige to start a process against them!

It's been 8 days since I bought the plan and I am not able to start it! I called customer care and was told the hard way that you should erase the ticket! I could not do that and it turned out to be a complete loss and stupid decision for me!

I recently made a purchase. I am really satisfied with my purchase. Not too costly and easy for pocket. The voice performance is really good

I paid over ₹499 for a one-month subscription to Speakattoo to convert Malayalam text to voice. Initially, it worked well — I was able to generate audio, and both the preview and download options were available. But after 3–4 days, the platform stopped working properly.

Despite trying different browsers, the issues persisted. Often, the voice selection doesn’t even appear properly — it just shows “male” or “female,” and selecting one doesn’t always work. After entering the text and clicking generate, it frequently shows an error. And even if it does work, the preview and download options are missing.

This feels like a buggy and unreliable service. I regret paying for it — it’s a total loss. I will never pay for such a poorly managed AI service again.

Voice modulation was not good. Sounded Robotic

Some one cheated me

Some one taking tooo much charge on the name of credit and give less characters.

I was fed up.
But once i tried speakatoo i am sao happy.. A very super powerful platform.
Especially it works wery well with indian languages.

I did not have time to record for my YouTube videos. I was about quting my YouTube. But one side found speak at you I made 60 videos in one day. And my YouTube channel is growing faster because of speakatoo.
This platform gives emotional based text to speech especially in Indian language. I have never found such a platform which work with Indian local languages.

I am a working professional so I did not have time to record. Now this platform give me a hope to continue my YouTube channel and start another YouTube channel also.

The Voices are exact like a human. Different male and female voice are available they speak like exact human there is no difference.

If anybody wanted to make money or online this platform is a very good supportive. They are giving good support via Email.

One more thing I want to say I was cheated by some such voice over platforms they are selling credit but actually they are not giving enough credit.
This platform giving credit as per the plan we choose.
I am very much happy about this platform I recommended this to everyone.
