With a co.uk URL you would expect it to be an uk company. They are based in china. They do not ship with royal mail but with a Chinese mail company. Their support is unresponsive and very unhelpful, I emailed the day I bought the cube and they only bothered to get back 2 days later once the cube was shipped. At which point they told me there was nothing they could do. They were not much cheaper than Amazon. They also take around 2 weeks to arrive.
All that aside, the cube seems to be genuine and is of good quality.
I wouldn't use them again, as its very disingenuous to use trickery to catch customers.

Cheap, arrives quick and the customer service is terrible

I ordered a lot of things and my £35 2x2 arrived broken, I tried contacting but they responded late and I accidentally ghosted because I was busy, they do seem to care though, and I feel like my issue was more on my end then theirs you can contact me on +44 7311 005895 preferably Whatsapp, so did my mgc sq-1 arrive broken but I cannot salvage it as I lost it.

I was worried after looking at bad reviews after I had already ordered a mgc square 1 but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, albeit 2 weeks later so a bit slow, but given the very good price ( far lower than other cubeshops), that was fine.

I just want to say a massive thanks to SpeedCubeStore. I was trying to organise a last minute gift for my son and these guys went above and beyond to make sure my little man had his speed cube on Christmas day. I will definitely be using these guys again. I cant recommend them enough. Thanks again legends. The smile on my sons face on Christmas day said it all :-)

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to after reading some scary reviews on here.

I ordered 3 of the best speedcubes on 20 Feb. They arrived (in Liverpool UK), brand new, authentic and sealed on 01 Mar.

Yes, they are dispatched from China. 10 days delivery time isn’t bad for the best priced cubes.

This company has saved me approx £40-£50 on this order and they also sent me 3 cool freebies.

I can’t speak for anyone else but my experience is that this is a genuine first class seller based in China.

Ordered a cube. It arrived…eventually and I instantly felt it was not the quality that a +£20 cube should be. True to my expectations, bits pop off the cube pretty easily and the entire cube fell apart into its 60ish pieces on more than one occasion.
The customer service email address did nothing but bounce back my emails. I eventually managed to track down a WhatsApp number to message (+86, so China) and was told that that is the cube I ordered and it is the way the cube is and is not a quality problem.
I’d argue that a cube falling apart is a quality problem.

I dont understand why this shop has such a bad reputation.

I ordered a YS3M on the 14th January. I was a bit sceptical with the reviews, but I gave the benefit of the doubt. On the 22nd January, the cube arrived, no damages or mistakes, it was perfect, apart from the shipping. It says it is from Royal Mail, but it is actually based in China so it doesn't start with Royal Mail, but it ended up with them.

Overall, if you are in the UK and you are looking for a affordable speedcube shop and dont mind waiting a week, I highly recommend speedcubestore.co.uk

They don’t tell you it comes from China, takes 3 weeks and then refuse to refund

I placed an order of £47 for 9 items on the 25th of November. I read reviews AFTER I ordered (stupid, I know), and became quite worried thinking maybe I had been scammed as some people had said the company claimed to use Royal Mail but didn't, and were actually based in China- not the UK.
My order has arrived today (04/12/23), all items have arrived, very well packaged and Royal Mail delivered my parcel.
So personally I have had no issues whatsoever, I do think it looks like a dodgy site and it is misleading to say it's UK store, but I would order from them again. I honestly cannot fault them. I received a free cube bag and a Christmas Tree puzzle.

Strap in because this is gonna be a long review,
Initially i was very skeptical, a lot of these reviews said they didn't get their cube and mentioned problems with customer service etc. I myself had to choose between: Amazon, SpeedCubeStore.co.uk, or Kewbz uk (because for both sCs and the Cubicle you have to pay a tonne for shipping since they're based in the US). On Kewbz uk, all of the Moyu ball core variants and the Flagship Tornado V3 were sold out. On Amazon, prices of cubes is downright extortion and plus a couple reviews mentioned problems with the plastic falling off, so i ordered here.

Before i ordered, I emailed customer service (asking how long it would take to ship to the uk) they told me it would take 7 days. I ended up ordering a Tornado V3 Flagship and a key chain on 21/11/23 and it came on 1/12/23 so 8 working days. Both the cube and the keychain arrived (with a cube stand and a 1x2x3 Christmas tree cube which was free) in pretty much perfect condition.

I know there was a lot of confusion with this store (SpeedCubeStore.co.uk), sCs.com(which is based in America) and a "SpeedCubeShop.co.uk". People are confusing the .co.uk and .com as well as the Shop vs Store. I can't really say much on it but i bought from SpeedCubeStore.co.uk (I checked, this is the URL) and my order arrived. I already knew that the company was based in China but I didn't mind the delivery time and also the cube was in fact delivered by the Royal Mail in the end.

No one talks about the actual condition of the cube after receiving it. I've been using the cube now for 2 days (I know it's not that long) but i did do a thorough inspection of the entire cube (I legit spent 2 hrs) and i can say it is the real one and in new condition, the cube came with all it's accessories (the bag, cloth and adjustment tool). I also checked and yes it has the magnetic core (I was worried they might give me the wrong variant).

In all, if you don't mind the delivery i would recommend that you buy here (I have seen people say that it took 2 weeks to deliver, maybe i just got lucky). My only problem with it is that the tracking doesn't actually work so i was a little worried but other than that the customer service was polite and my cube came in the end.
If you care about the delivery time, order on Kewbz uk, it only takes 2-3 day and the tracking probably actually works but you might find that all the best cubes are out of stock for a while.
Please just stay off Amazon, the people who buy cubes there are either parents who want to buy a cube for their kid (and go straight onto amazon) or they just don't realise the prices that they are charging for cubes is just a scam. Also, on Amazon, they have weird names like 'Taolele' or 'LiangCuber'. I'd stay away, plus its just more expensive than everywhere else.

It's legit. I got a Gan 11M duo for £30 (bargain) plus a free Christmas Tree puzzle. 100% worth it. Shipping took a while as it was from China, and the order took a while to process, which really sketched me out, but after a quick email to support, it was sorted. (I think it's just one guy in China running this site as a side business)

Genuine and legit company. Ordered a MoYu RS3M 2020 off this store around 10 days ago. I felt worried that it would not arrive after I read all of the other reviews on trustpilot. This is a great company, even including a coupon code in my order! I received my order earlier than expected. The website says that it take 10-12 days to arrive for UK orders, but mine arrived in 9. No marks on the cube, arrived in perfect condition. great company, safe and NOT a scam!

Unsere Bestellung von vor 6 Wochen ist immernoch nicht angekommen (bestellt bei SpeedCubeStore Deutschland - wo auch immer das sein soll), Fragen an das Support-Team werden schwammig vertröstend ("my friend...") beantwortet, die tracking number ist irgendwo vor einem Monat (angeblich im Amsterdamer Zoll) steckengeblieben, nun hoffe ich, dass ich irgendwie mein Geld wiederbekomme...

Despite some of the other not so good reviews I thought I'd still give this site a go. I ordered a GAN 11M PRO UV and a MOYU RS2M, both arrived new in perfect condition. It's worth considering that although this site is .co.uk, the products do ship from China and take a little while to come (mine took 11 days from ordering to delivery) but it's worth the wait if you want to save yourself some money. They offer free shipping on more expensive orders (Mine was free shipping when I spent ~40 pounds). So as long as you don't expect next day delivery then I'd say they're a great place to order from! A lot cheaper than everywhere else too. The GAN 11M Pro (UV Coated) I ordered is around 50 pounds on amazon and 55 on Kewbz, I paid 37.76 with free shipping for this one. Very pleased!

Excellent cubes

I have bought all my big cubes from this company, yes they aren't actually uk based and can sometimes be difficult to contact and they have had a lot of bad reviews but I still rate this company, great prices and yes you do sometimes have a 2 week to 3 week wait, I'm on my 7th big cube from them (13x13) and it arrived today after I ordered it on the 5th of June. The company also offer tracking information with each order so you can check the cubes progress which is helpful.

Like most other customer views on here stay clear from buying from this company.

I ordered at 19th March and I still haven’t gotten my order! It said it’ll come in 2 weeks and it’s been almost 3 weeks! This clearly isn’t being dispatched from the UK!

Like other reviews, the only reason they’re not getting 5 stars is that the store doesn’t make it absolutely clear that they’re not being dispatched from the U.K., but they do clearly state delivery times, so I should really have known. I was a little trepidatious when I received emails with Chinese language notifications and the tracking site turned out to be Chinese too, but most modern browsers translate those sites for you and tracking is accurate and up-to-date. My package of a GAN13 maglev and GAN Megaminx arrived within the advertised timescale and in terrific condition (no damage to the packaging). The puzzle cubes are both genuine and represent unbeatable value compared to other stores, so well worth the wait. I would certainly consider buying from them again.

It was well packaged, a few dents but considering the company being based in China it came quickly and safely and it was exactly what I paid for. I bought the GAN 356 M and it came in 10-15 days like specified. I also got it for incredibly cheap, £21 (including shipping). Since the GAN 356 M is £35 at retail price, I definitely saved a lot of money. Customer service was good, I contacted them about my tracking number and they replied within the next day providing it. Good service, I recommend!
