This place needs to be shut down!!
If I could give this place a 0 star review, I would. I've been going to Spero Health since I got out of rehab in October of 2024. My entire experience with Spero Health in Jeffersonville IN has been the WORST I've ever had with ANY doctor or business in general. Never in my life have I dealt with such heartless human beings. First of all, the receptionist thats usually working is rude. The place altogether is disorganized, they make appointments without telling you about them, & when you miss your appointment; they punish you for it by refusing to see you or give you your medication. On March 5th 2025, I came in after missing an appointment because of transportation issues(that they were well aware of) & they denied me because they were "too full" & "I haven't been showing up" mind you no one was even in there because they just don't have the business. I asked them for WEEKS to get on the sublocade shot but refused to give it to me until I finally decided to demand that I get on it. My body, my life, my choice because I know what's best for me. They then took my blood, I waited a week or more for my results AND a phone call that my shot was ready and they never* called me to confirm. Instead of calling to confirm any appointments, they text instead.
The whole reason they denied me the shot is because they didn't want to lose my business of coming in twice a week every week(or more), which I do not have time for. Every time I went in, I spent my entire day there. They are slow, disorganized, disrespectful, lazy, inarticulate, rude, inattentive & they have ZERO compassion for the addicts that they come in contact with.
They are only open 3 days a week and I'm pretty sure it's because they are just money hungry people that care more about getting paid than taking care of their patients. It's my honest opinion that they should be shut down!! Working in health care services, one thing you should have is compassion and understanding for others!!
The way that they treated my loved ones is another reason why I'm absolutely disgusted at how they run their business and how they treat other people because it wasn't just me that has experienced this.
