We got a new puppy, it had been 15 years since I had done any puppy training. I started this puppy training program as soon as I got him & he is the most trained well behaved dog I have ever had! Training right from the beginning is so much easier then correcting a problem later. I would recommend this to others

Very satisfied with this program. The steps are clear and easy to follow. I saw progress with my dog Oliver within the first week of starting the training, which is unlike what I had tried in the past. The trainers are quick to answer any questions I have, highly recommend!

I bought access to their lessons in 2020. They helped me raise the best dog I’ve ever had.

Well, six years later I wanted to review them for my new puppy… oh no! They updated their site and I lost access to my lessons. After a quick email exchange with Andrea, not only is my access restored, but a bunch of new videos have been added basically all the new videos they’ve made on the same subjects.

I think (I’m not totally sure because it’s been a while) they even threw in a free video on how to integrate my puppy with my older dog.

10/10 lessons and 10/10 customer service.

Today is January 6, 2026, and I have tried 10 times to start my Day 8 training and it wont let me in. This is very frustrating. Each time it says, Not available until 7;32 PM on January 6, 2026. It's now 8;23 on January 6, 2026 and still no luck getting to week 8. There is no place to ask for help. Where is customer service or a leader of the website?

I highly recommend this program for reactive dogs. My dog and I started it almost four months ago, and the progress has been amazing.
Before, my dog was scared of everything during walks: bikes, scooters, children, runners, other dogs, and even buses. Every outing was a real challenge to avoid any reactive episodes.

Now, he handles the situations that used to be difficult for him much better. My biggest concern was encountering other dogs — every morning I hoped we wouldn’t run into any so the walk would stay calm. Today, I can simply walk with him and adjust the distance to help him improve.
We started with a distance of 6 meters for large dogs and 3 meters for small dogs. After three months, we were able to reduce it to 4 meters for large dogs and less than one meter for small dogs.

I also started interval running with him, and it has really boosted his progress: he manages his emotions better and trusts me much more during encounters.
A big thank you for this healthy method, as it truly respects our dogs.

There are SO many trainings available online and live. I recommend you to be really mindful of what you choose. This is a really good one. She really understands dogs, and that’s what counts. Not any weird temporary methods that can only bring short term results.

Steffi has changed the way I navigate challenges with my dogs, 150% for the better. She’s encouraging and understanding yet not judgemental and answers questions with a genuine desire to help create positive relationships with our furry family members. I value her knowledge and suggestions tremendously.

I bought her online class: tackling reactivity bundle and it was so helpful! You can ask questions and the exercises are well explained with many video-demonstrations.

I had never experienced this gentle approach to behavior conditioning for our reactive dog. While we still have road to travel, we have found the techniques here to be helpful in allowing our dog a mostly stress-free day. Great content.

I recently acquired the Reactivity course from Spirit Dog Training and had good results with very positive methods.

The courses provide sufficient information for a new or experienced dog owner and is useful for both in tackling the training necessities for people who like to implement their own training and boundaries with their animals.

When purchasing the course the in-sale suggestions provided information on the year-long full access plan via the Academy which I added on to my purchase.

In both set ups, stand alone course or academy, the feedback provided by the trainers (Victoria in my case) is very comprehensive and useful, as well as being delivered very fast.

I've been using the services for the last couple of months and today I've experienced technical problems in the normal flow of a course, and the customer support provided by Andrea was fast and attentive.
I'm leaving this review due to her suggestion, since I felt very well taken care of and wanted to leave a positive review on her care and on the company overall.

I'm quite happy with the choice to purchase both the stand alone course and the year long subscription and I truly recommend it.

Spirit Dog Training really saved me with my puppy! 🐶 The lessons were simple and fun, and I saw changes so quickly. My pup listens so much better now, it made those first months so much easier.

I bought last year the reactivity course and it worked really well with our dog Luna, we recently also purchased the house manners course and the course is super helpful and well structured. I recommend thsese for everyone who wants to train their dog in an effective way.

This course didn’t work for my Maltese who is not a big sniffer..couldn’t progess lessons when you want or are ready. Also, days and days you are encouraged to take your time and practice. No mention the course and refund needed to be finished and requested in 60 days. Plus LOTS of upsaleing. Not happy at all! Beware.

After complaining and requesting again I was refunded my $49…hopefully the program will work for you and you won’t need a refund!

Wonderfully laid out, friendly and in-depth. This course is a great remedy to feelings of overwhelm and insecurity about your training. Positive dog training is worth it and this course emphasises that in every lesson :)

I was desperate with my new rescue who was in 24/7 flight/flight fear mode from trauma. I have trained other challenging dogs before but none with this level of trauma/fear to everything that moves or changes. This program has been amazing....no my dog is not fully trained to be calm yet...but i have made significant progress by working the training program and so has my dog. SpiritDog does an amazing job of knowing just how to train us humans to be better trainers....like often asking if you are making any of these common mistakes...and of course I was! I am so thankful for this resource and know we will make progress most every day...and that is hopeful!

Honestly, I was hesitant to purchase an online training program for my dog. She had already had a ton of training from the basics to agility to rally-o to service dog training. She was a highly trained dog, but she didn't act like it. She had developed the habit of aggressively barking and lunging at pretty much all other dogs, people and even children. We live in the city and it became super stressful to take her for walks. For $49 bucks I figured it was worth the risk and I'm so glad I took the chance. Like all dog training, it's less for dogs than their people. In the first few days of watching the brief, clear, well done videos, I started to understand the problem: stressors were stacking up for her and freaking her out. On top of that I started to really understand her breed and why she was prone to this behavior. I used the techniques in the class and within 2 months of consistently working with her, she has not had any reactive outbursts for a couple of weeks now. In fact she has started to greet other dogs on the street and play with them. This is a MIRACLE! Steffi's technique truly works! Also, even though the Reactivity course is just $49 dollars, you can email her and she really does get back to you with personalized, caring guidance - she was writing me faster than I could get back to her. I can honestly say that I still have not even watched all the videos, but my problem is solved - and if it comes back I really feel confident in knowing what to do. My relationship with my dog is soooo much better now and I love taking her with me on errands again. If you're dealing with a reactive dog, don't give up. I highly recommend this course and this dog training team.
