A great wee shop in Kirkie although it's not the wee. Jim and Craig are two gents with the knowledge and charisma of a couple of dinosaurs, only kidding they are both one in a million.

Spirit of Alba is an independently run family business. We were established in 2015 to raise awareness and promote the exciting, interesting and innovative world of whisky. The company and its owner, Dr. Jim Hopkins, are proudly Scottish (hence the company name – ‘ALBA’ being the Gaelic name for Scotland). Our primary specialty is in the retail of Scotch Whisky and various other spirits, from Gin to Rum and everything in between.

The best specialist spirits retailer of the area. Always feel welcome whenever we visit and very knowledgeable of their stuff. We'd like to think we go back for the booze but it's more to see their little furry employees 😅
