Hiring a consultant is a difficult decision to make, and is one that you should reflect carefully on based on your personal needs and goals. However, as someone who has shopped/looked around the market, I believe that if you are looking for one, Sam Parker is where you should go.

She combed through my materials and caught nuances and angles I'd completely missed. Her feedback was fantastic and drew on her rare and specialized expertise as a former HLS admissions officer, which gave me a genuine edge when it came to top law school admissions.

Beyond the quality of her guidance, she is very kind and personable. Working with her was refreshing for me in that she struck a great balance between warm, natural conversation and efficiently establishing clear goals for each session. I would also receive thoughtful and substantive edits within a day or two and she was always available when I had questions. That responsiveness made the whole experience feel much less stressful.

Hiring Sam Parker was, hands down, the best decision I made as a transfer applicant to law school. I have a story and stats that make admissions complicated: an old GPA under 2.5, a very unusual background, and a story that was strong but hard to organize. They helped me turn all of that into an application that actually made sense.

Mike helped me personally, which says a lot about the kind of person he is and the kind of culture he has built. I worked with Mike, Paul, and Anna, who kept it extremely real. They took my application seriously, pushed me where I needed to be pushed, and helped me see what was actually compelling in my own story.

Anna was wonderful throughout the process. She was kind, calm, and thoughtful at moments when this whole thing felt pretty brutal. Also, Paul Rollins is amazing. If you can choose him, choose him. He is direct, smart, and really good at helping you sound like the best version of yourself instead of some polished admissions robot.

I ended up getting into Georgetown Law with an old sub-2.5 GPA. That is still pretty hard for me to believe. Spivey made this possible, and I'm beyond thankful.
