DONT WALK, RUN!!! As fast as you can from these crooks. They advertise helping settle all of your debts for a portion of the savings and a 75$ admin fee. For 13 months I've paid 900$ per and had 600 go to one creditor. These people need to be prosecuted. Please contact me with any onsite you may have into bankrupting and eliminating these crooks.

DO NOT DO!!!! First of all, this is not a scam. This company will provide you the service they offer. BUT!!! ALMOST 75% OF EVERY PAYMENT YOU MAKE TO THEM IS FEES!!!. For me, that means I only had around $1,100 in my account after having paid in around $8,200. It's true they don't charge interest, but you will be in debt for YEARS while they collect these hefty fees from you and take their sweet (completely legal) time resolving your debts. DON'T DO! DON'T DO! DON'T DO!!!!

Total scam just like everyone said. I decided to cancel and just go down the bankrucpty route because the debt was just getting to be too much. Called spring legal to cancel and get a refund, only to find out that $804 of my $900 payment was fees used to pay them. Told them that I was told something completely different on the phone but all they had to say was "it was in the contract"

Not worth the time or money. I gave two stars rather than one because there were a few settlements agreed to although nothing was paid off.
I knew going in that there would be front loaded fees and that they would be large fees but I wound up paying more to Spring Legal than I was paying to service my debt. I have been trying for six weeks to cancel the program and while the person on the phones says it is cancelled there is no reflection of the cancellation, no refund, and they have not stopped trying to draft my account for the program.
Maybe they don't know what the term please cancel my program means. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

I wish I looked here before I started with them eight months ago. After making 7 payments of $1190 my savings/escrow had only $1200. They charged service fees over 700 every month retention fees about 200 and another fee that i dont recall. Out of 1190 payment my savings was getting little over $100.
Won't refund anything. Just stole over $7000.

All the negative reviews are true. I too have paid nearly $8,000 over the course of the year and currently have $9 after having only one debt settled after 9 months for $15 a month. I called a creditor today and settled $4,200 for $1,400 ON MY OWN. I was told by the creditor that they tried to settle but Spring Legal Group would not return their call. This program is a waste of money and time. It is a complete scam.

This company is a true scam. My credit was good before I got into this program. I have been in this program for 16 months now and nothing has been resolved. They are taking 95% of my monthly payment to do absolutely nothing. How are they able to keep money and not offer a legitimate service. I did not know that the fees would be every single month. By my calculations I should have over $13,000 in this account but I only have a little over $2000. This is highway robbery. I hope everyone researches this company before entering into any agreement with them. I pray that they are investigated. I have currently received a summons that cannot be resolved due to not having enough in my account. At this point I could have kept paying my creditors, my good credit and my money.

Worse, untrustworthy, untransparent "Debt Consolidating" service ever.. No real representation, no call backs, despite the promise to do so. The Portal is a joke and provides NO REAL relevant information. No real "Lawyer" other than the reference of a lawyer that clearly isn't involve with any "Settlement" effort or negotiation.

How is it that "Spring Illegal" advertises to consolidate ones debt when they first line their pockets with our fees? I am sure there is a "Law" that requires that a service be rendered before legally collecting a fee. A complaint has been filed with the federal trade commission as to Spring legal practices that are simply increasing the debt and obligation to those they claim to help . STAY AWAY! KEEP YOUR MONEY...WORK IT OUT DIRECT WITH YOUR CREDITORS OR COLLECTING AGENCY. SPRING LEGAL IS A SCAM

I also have been using Spring for debt restructuring and after nearly a year at just over $800/month, one creditor has been resolved - the balance due was less than $1000. I was informed that all fees would be taken up front, so I didn't flinch when they took $900 up front; however, when I look at the escrow account today, there is only $230 in it and another $400+ fee. I am consulting a lawyer and will have to move toward bankruptcy, which is really unfortunate, because I wanted to pay my creditors back.

In addition being robbed for a year, I was told that I would be in weekly contact with the man who I talked to to set up the service. I haven't ever heard from him again.

Update: I called and canceled services today and was informed the $495 monthly fee, in addition to the monthly $100 fee, and miscellaneous other fees are charged for 22-months. This is not what was explained. In fact, several months after starting the question I called with questions about the "fees" and was reminded that I had to pay the initial $900. They reiterated it what was a one-time fee to paid at the beginning of the program.

We used these people they are a scam and took 5,000 and never paid any of our debt,they lie and then they took all the money and said oh u owe us for fees that’s where all the money went their pocket!!! They said we will cancel and send u $500 after they took 5,000 from me!!! They have bad reviews and a investigation is u see being done on them. The should be ashamed and we already reported them to the bbb!!! I called the creditors they never called them and they just take money from ppl and do nothing. And say it’s legal it’s sick. My son is a lawyer as well and he is looking into it with the investigators!!! Don’t trust them

I thought this company was going to get me out of debt but instead they stole my money. I joined in October 2021, depositing $726.72 per month, as of today February 10, 2023 a total of $11,264.16. They got only two of my creditors paid from about $868.00 to $347.00 and about $1,100.00 to $547.00. When I check my balance in Global LLC a little over $1,800.00 was there, when I called today these thieves told me that almost $8,000.00 went to fees. I’m telling each one of you that work for this group will have your day in this lifetime you will all loose everything you have before you suffer to your death and then to hell to burn for all eternity. I ended this program today and they told me after additional fees from the 1,800. in my balance will be refunded but I know they will steal more from that anyway. God will bless me back double time and I will be debt free but for you guys judgment day is coming… and don’t tell me this nonsense about a contract you’re all a bunch of thieves.

!!!! I knew better, however, now, you are on my radar.....I will get my money back! As well as everyone else you have stollen from.

I need help retrieving money that I have been paying this business for debt consolidation.
I have been making payments to Spring Legal Group for the past year and a half. This group was to settle with a third-party debt collector. My monthly payments were $170.00 every 10th and 20th, so a total of $340.00. I just called to see how much I have in my escrow account, and they said I had 216.00 dollars! Which is criminal. I asked them where my money was going, and they kept saying fees and fees! We went over how much money I have given them over the years, and it summed up to be $4,276.56 that has been taken out of my direct deposit.
How I only have $216.00 is so terrible and fraudulent. They said it's in the contract and fees; I never remember signing that detail. I am giving them $340 per month, and they take out 278.00 dollars. I even told them if I had known or when I had called in in the past to see where my account was, but they never said anything like, "Well, your account is still low in the amount because of the fees" They were so nasty to me on the phone, and I feel like I have been robbed. They kept saying we could do nothing; they made me feel stupid. I want my money back and never refer this company to another person. I thought they would help me settle with the third-party debt collector; if I didn't call last week when I did, I would still be getting robbed.
These fees should be illegal, and they should be ashamed of how they do this for people. I want a refund of the money I deposited in. I will keep going after them until then. Please help me figure out what is best to retrieve my money.
They were supposed to resolve a debt to help me settle with a third party, and realistically, they have been taking so much money, and that seems to be just the scam. I am frustrated and sick to my stomach!

They could not get an attorney to represent me, even with a 3 month notice. Long story short, they dropped the ball, the creditor got a ruling in their favor, for more than what I initially owed plus court costs, and they just took every penny I had in my checking and savings. They suck! Don't use them. They do nothing for you. They get their money up front so they don't care.
By the way, is there any interest to form a class action lawsuit ? Are there any lawyers interested, or that can share feedback?

Nothing is good about this company at all. They are slow to respond with anything and everything! They are no help
They want you to default on your obligations first and require you to meet your retainer fees first before they will do anything in regards to settlements.
I now have a law suit because of them and cannot get a home loan due to my credit because of late payments from their advice of the program.
In regards to litigations, they put your case in a system and wait for an attorney to pick it up to defend you. Not a single lawyer picked up my case and I had called multiple times and the only response is that it will be “escalated”. Then crickets. Nothing ever happens.
I’ve been with this company since 12/15/2020. I’ve paid over $9,000 to them for fees and nothing has been resolved. Not one thing! So I canceled my account with them. The contract says 7 business days to get a refund of money in the global account. Well it’s been over two weeks and still have not received my money back. And to top that off, I’ll only get a little over $2,000 back from the $9,000 I’ve paid in because of their fees.
This is a huge waste of time and money. I could have already paid off my debts with the money I wasted on this laughing stock of a company. I was in good standing with my creditors until this messed up program. I thought I was doing a good thing but yet I get a run around with every call, loss of a ton of money for nothing, and bad credit because of this messed up program. Their program SUCKS! Bad advice from them.

It has been 3 months since I exited Spring Legal Group’s debt relief program and I have yet to receive a significant refund of service fees of the debt enrolled that was not settled. The amount is significant and while the representatives in their customer service department are friendly, the Group as a whole have been non responsive and evasive.

Initially I was given a paltry offer significantly lower than what would be owed to me as a refund. Please consider this when considering their services that they will be quick to take your money and not return it upon exiting the program.

I only give 1 star cause it won’t let me give less, but I plead and beg with anyone DO NOT go with Spring Legal! They seemed legit, they seemed like they wanted to help, but 2yrs and $24,000 later! They only settled one small debt that was settled for round $2,400, 2 accounts was sent to litigation, another one was pending. we was being sued for over $30,000 with one creditor while another creditor was pending Lawsuit as well! So basically we had paid in round $24,000 to try to help financially only to have to file bankruptcy after all!!! Thankfully we got a good bankruptcy lawyer that realized the problem and went into legal action against Spring Legal! Do not go with this company!!! All they do is steal your money!!! Thankfully with our lawyers help we was able to receive round $18,000 of that 24,000 back!! We should have never had to file bankruptcy but the lawyer with spring legal told me we wouldn’t win the case anyways and if we continued in the program they wanted more money!!! So our only hope was filing bankruptcy!! The Lawyer they assigned to our lawsuit with spring legal I believe tried his best but spring legal isn’t what they appear to be!!!! I hope one person finds this helpful!!! Settle with your creditors instead of going with these cons!!!

Stay away....I was DUM and believe there reviews and customer service in the beginning. Now i got it....what else they could do.

i think this group preys on people who are experiencing some sort of financial crisis in their lives, are desperate, and just looking for someone to help them. I am one of them. I am elderly, was in a lot of pain, experience financial problems, and Spring came along and offered to make things manageable, 30 months and $21,000.00 later, I have been sued 3 times by the companies that Spring was supposed to negotiate with, and didn't, which resulted in my owing more than when I entered into contract with Spring, and only $5,000.00 has been applied towards my debt....two companies havn't even been conacted yet and I am told that they are working on it. Right. I am going to file a complaint with the State of Ohio, and seek judicial help because I feel they took advantage of me when I was in condition to expedite such a contract which has not lived up to the promises I was made

I was only in the program for less than 6 months. The two creditors I enrolled were joint with my mother. She ended up taking them and therefore no need for the program. I paid over $1500 to them and they say I have $78 credit coming back! They did not do one thing for me and are keeping it all. I understand fees but $1500 in fees for 6 months of absolutely nothing. This is why people who are having a hard time can’t get ahead. 😞 PS. Their portal sucks!
