Dishonest. They send you a letter that is designed to make people think it's from HMRC and that you're obliged to do something with them.

I thought I was dealing direct with companies house.
Not a private company.
I have requested a refund and received it without question.
Please ensure your correspondence makes it clear you are not working with companies house
And paying CH direct is 1/2 what you request.

Very underhanded marketing practices. DO NOT SCAN THEIR QR CODES

Very underhanded marketing practices.

They send out a letter using your company details and time it perfectly at the point where your company filing are due and send you a "Reminder" as though they are being instructed by Companies House to let you know, stating "Failure to submit... is a legal offence...Companies House may strike off your company".

They then give you 3 options to follow "To take immediate action"

This is nothing but cold mail marketing. If you are not switched on, you may think that this is part of your regular process, but it is not.

If you take review feedback into account Standard Accounting, do better guys. This is not the way to win loyal customers. This is the way to make a quick buck and get people's back up.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We sincerely apologise for any confusion our reminder letter may have caused. Our intention is to assist business owners in staying compliant with their filing deadlines, not to mislead. The letter states above the 3 options that you 'can file directly with Companies House, or scan one of the options to instruct Standard Accounting' This is repeated after a code is scanned and appears in a large box before you select the service or make payment.
We appreciate your feedback and will review our communication to ensure clarity. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team.

Reliable company

This was my first time of having to submit information to Company’s House so it was a bit daunting however Standard Accounting took away any stress associated with this. So long as you have the required ID it was a straightforward process it may have been something I could have done but first time can be worrying.
They are very good at communicating with you and appear very courteous and understanding.
