My experience with Stardelite has put a good light on internships for me. I had to take a month off because I was in school writing exams, so I approached our boss, Mr. Solomon, about it. He received me calmly and told me to come back when I’m ready after my exams. I have grown a whole lot at Stardelite, to be honest, building on existing skills and brushing up old ones as well. Working at Stardelite has helped me build a more structured CV and a better professional experience. I’ve been exposed to new technologies, understood code that was written by another person, and used new approaches to building backend systems.

Stardelite provided a unique opportunity for me to grow my technical skills and capabilities as a backend engineer. Tasks were structured using project management tools, tech standards, and methodologies like daily stand-ups, which created a professional and collaborative work environment.

One major highlight was improving my understanding of Git and learning to use it effectively for team collaboration. A standout project for me was working on a Learning Management System, where I had the chance to integrate AI into the system among other responsibilities - a valuable and exciting learning experience.

Overall, my experience with Stardelite has been phenomenal. I am super grateful for the exposure and the growth it has enabled in my journey as a backend engineer.

My experience is great because I've learned, unlearn and relearn alot at the course of the internship as a UI/UX intern, the mentors are great and welcoming, my intern colleagues are great too.
