Steps. What the future does not hold
Absolutely shocked and upset by the poor customer service I have received from a particular customer service representatives.
He gave me bad advice about placing a new order incorporating a previous order as the company are not able to amalgamate an existing order adding something new to it to help their customers save on additional postage costs. It's a shame really that the staff are not a bit more understanding of their customers. I have now cancelled both orders for new Steps merchandise because of the lack of customer service. Apparently my first order had been processed which meant it could not be cancelled. But I was advised to cancel this order and place a new one. The person that advised me to cancel and generate a new order failed to tell me it was too late to cacel my first order. He is now accepting no responsibility for his bad advice and especially for not pre warning me that the order had been processed. Funny thing is that the status of the order had remained the same all day so he must have known it would not be possible to cancel that order. So why did he let me. Just admit to your mistake and bad advice.

All problems sorted out and rectified by J over the phone. There was confusion over what was being said or implied in the emails. Now all sorted out and I have to say J went above and beyond the call of duty in making me one of their happiest customers
