I deal with Stericycle all the time with my work in a hospital.I have always found admin staff and most of the drivers great to get along with,theres always one in every service that doesn't make the mark,! but generally I have nothing but praise to all I have dealt with.

I have been using this company for the last 2 years. Christopher is always very supportive and responsive, and today I was very positively surprised by excellent customer service when Grace supported me with competence and care! Thank you!

Extremely disappointing experience with Stericycle.

Collections were repeatedly missed despite multiple complaints and attempts from us to arrange suitable collection times. Drivers would attend at random hours, often outside of our clinic opening times, with no proper tracking system or communication regarding arrival times.

After several missed collections and no meaningful resolution, we stopped the direct debit because we were effectively being charged for a service we were not receiving. Despite this, they are now pursuing payment for missed and incomplete services rather than addressing the ongoing issues we raised for months.

Customer service was extremely difficult to deal with — calls often went unanswered and nobody seemed able to provide updates on drivers or collection schedules.

We would have appreciated at least some accountability, reimbursement for missed collections, or flexibility in resolving the issue, but unfortunately that never happened.

Based on our experience, we would not recommend this service.

Disgusting level of service from Stericycle, largely due to Martin, the Account Executive for the South West. Collections are constantly inconsistent, missed pickups, collections not happening on time, deliveries not being signed for properly, and in some cases nobody even turns up to collect at all.

When I’ve emailed asking for recollections or support, I’ve often been ignored. What’s even more frustrating is that the issues are clearly visible on my account history, yet Martin still claimed over the phone that he could only see one missed collection, which simply isn’t true. His tone, attitude, and complete lack of customer service were appalling. If someone represented my business that way, I’d be embarrassed.

To make matters worse, even after trying to terminate the contract due to the company repeatedly failing to uphold their side of the agreement, they still expect termination fees to be paid which is honestly laughable given the level of service provided.

The only positive experience I’ve had was with James, who was professional, helpful, and genuinely deserved 5 stars on his own.

Overall, I would strongly advise others to avoid Stericycle and also avpid Martin too at all costs.

I needed to call Stericycle today, from Joanne Hume & Son, to query a waste collection day, Dean was very helpful and went above and beyond dealing with my initial query, sending us a schedule of 2026 collection dates, and explaining the process. We have always received exceptional service from this company, and the staff are superb, helpful, friendly and professional.

Stericycle driver parking van illegally and blocking vehicle access for 83 residential flats (to the main entrance and drop-off area), and the public turnaround area of the road, which is all part of Albert Rd, Bournemouth. It is 24/7, NO parking and NO loading, and parked on a big KEEP CLEAR sign. Delivering to River Aesthetics , Albert Rd. Van reg: BV23 RTZ. 9.30am 21 April 2026, (Previously advised illegal and inconsiderate to load here).

We've had a poor experience with Stericycle. There seems to be a lack of communication between the office and the drivers doing the collections. We've had numerous dates booked in for collections with no one turning up. I've literally just had to re-arrange a collection from two weeks ago as no one turned up, despite them calling me to confirm the date. We also get charged for collections we haven't booked. One of the 'classic' situations with them is that the driver will arrive and say that he is picking up a much smaller number of items than we actually booked (e.g. we need 75 bags of waste collecting and he only has 30 on his job sheet). When told that the collection is actually much larger, they say they can't fit it onto the truck!
I've given two stars as the customer service team are friendly and helpful, and do try to sort out the problems when they arise. The trouble is, it just keeps happening.

I spoke to Dean Storey and he was very helpful and professional and answered all my questions and sent me follow up information I needed.

A very efficient service, I dealt with Christopher Hughes who was extremely helpful and friendly, very professional.

Recently complained about appalling service, by Stericycle Feb 2026. I cancelled my contract. I did so in writing as per their request had an email today to inform me that they have just taken a payment by direct debit for the service that I cancelled …. This company is absolutely terrible. Use them at your peril you will be charged for collections that never happened. You won’t get any information as to when collections will be happening and you will get no satisfaction when you complain… Can’t recommend enough to use any other company other than these.

They were quick to reply,and helped me with my queries without any unnecessary fuss.
