My agent wasn't very honest or not knowledgeable.

My agent, Christian was always very courteous....however, when it came time to purchase, I was told their were NO containers at the original price quoted. I was told they (Storecan) could get me a container with a higher quality rating scale for an extra $500.00. I needed a container, so I didn't have much choice (btw, I'm a 100% Disabled Veteran on a fixed income). If....the container I received was of a much better condition for the extra $500.00, I am so grateful I didn't buy the lower quoted (None Available?) as I can barely open the doors on this container. I honestly feel I was overcharged the $500.00 increase. I was PROMISED I would be receiving a better than average container that had gone through a repair process to ensure it was in good working order. I can't in good conscience recommend this company for your shipping container needs unless you have 20-year-old football players to open it for you. I will update my review of a company representative reaches out to me with an amicable resolve.

Terry, thank you for your service, and thank you for the review. We'd rather answer it publicly and in full so anyone reading can weigh the facts themselves.

The lower figure you're comparing against was for a Wind & Water Tight (WWT) container, a lower grade, and, as your own review notes, none were actually available at that price. What we supplied was Cargo Worthy (CW): a higher, inspected grade with structural and door-seal standards a WWT unit isn't held to. After applying every discount available to us, our documented difference was $347.48, for a container a full grade above what was quoted. That's not a $500 upcharge on the same box; it's a different box.

Your container was delivered Friday, August 7. Our invoice and delivery confirmation both state, in bold, that any issue must be reported to StoreCan while the driver is still on site. That's how we catch and fix problems immediately, at our cost. Nothing was reported that day, or in the three weeks since. This review is the first we've heard of a door concern, and we have not received a single photo or video of it.

On the doors. Our driver's notes for your delivery record no unusual door condition, and he sprayed the hinges with WD-40 before leaving, as he does on every used unit. What he did record was the site: over two hours on the property, an hour of it spent clearing a tree stump to make room, and ground that was not level, at no additional charge to you.

That last detail matters more than most people realize. A shipping container carries its entire load on four corner castings. If those four points aren't on the same plane, the box twists slightly and the first symptom is always the door operation issues. It is by far the most common cause of doors that worked at the depot and stick at home. The fix is usually simple: set all four corners on solid blocking (railway ties or concrete pads), check with a level, and shim the low corner. In most cases the doors free up on the spot.

We stand behind our grading and our delivery. What we can't do is solve a problem we learn about for the first time in a public review, three weeks later, with no evidence attached.

Overall it was good

Overall it was good.
Delays on receiving the containers purchased.
However better alternatives were offered and accepted. Delivery was late in the day, after hour so additional costs were incurred for overtime expenses.

Good company to deal with

I had a pleasant experience when ordering the shipping container: all my questions were answered, and I also received tips for maintaining it. It is a used 40', and it is in good shape. The driver was on time, and placed it right where I wanted it.

Not a scam.

Called the representative. She emailed me a written quote. I confirmed. Was sent an invoice. I e-transferred the funds. Next morning I had my release number. Very fast and professional. It is not a scam. They are real people.

Reasonably priced containers

Alex kept me informed through the entire process of getting my container. Very prompt on answering my calls, and getting me on the schedule for delivery.
Freddie the driver was very professional and put the container right where I wanted it.
I highly recommend this company if you need a container.
