I have been trying to learn screenplay writing for the last five years through YouTube videos and books. I used to write stories, but in the end, I felt that something was missing from them. I was worried and thought of joining film school, but it was impossible for me. While I continued my process of learning online I came across Storython, an online screenplay writing course by National Award Winner Ankit Kothari Sir. I joined the course, and it has been five months since I started learning on Storython. Ankit sir explained all the elements of screenplay writing, which I had not been able to learn and understand in the last five years. The course increased our understanding of how a writer should maintain a proper mindset so that they can be successful in their writing career. Today, I feel like I wish Storython had been available five years ago.

I feel what makes this course great is the practical writing activities which happens in sessions rather than just videos. Also I feel the commitment of mentor to fulfill the task he promised us in the beginning is visible throughout the journey of course. This motivates students also to commit to write and believe in themselves. Last but not the least, the segregation of modules is apt for beginners and it starts from very basic and takes you to in depth of short film writing.
