I signed up for the 7-day trial thinking this program would be a great tool for pre-production. On the first day, I imported my Final Draft script and had to reformat it in Studiovity. That was fine—I know that’s common. I spent about 2 hours reformatting, saving after every page. Later that day, I logged back in only to find all of my work completely gone.

I assumed it was a fluke and spent another 2–3 hours reformatting everything again. This time I made sure to log out and back in to confirm the changes had saved. They did. Then I moved on to the script breakdown feature. After uploading my script, only 27 out of 80 scenes loaded. When I checked the documents page, I discovered that, once again, all my changes had been deleted and half the script was missing.

I tried calling the number listed on the site, but it was an overseas number. The person who answered said he was “outside and couldn’t talk,” and asked me to just screenshot my issue. That told me everything I needed to know—this is not a professional company.

This tool is unreliable and unprofessional. If it deletes hours of your work, it’s worthless. I don’t have the time to spend 6–8 hours only for my work to disappear. Do not use this software. Save yourself the frustration and pay for StudioBinder or another reputable production tool.
