StudyTEFL has been an excellent all round experience for me. I completed the 120 hour course, which took me about 5 weeks and cost just under $50. What I got for my money was a bit surprising, but I guess competition inevitably helps buyers!

What I especially liked was the in-depth material and the sheer number of tips and activities given for different ages and topics (I wasn’t so interested in the adult stuff, but that’s just my preference). I didn’t watch many videos because I prefer text. The activities did their job of being engaging while simultaneously reviewing, though I had trouble with one of them not registering answers until staff told me I needed to press submit before next (they added instructions after that, so there are some areas for improvement).

Staff were lovely. I had two questions (that being one), and they answered me as expected within maybe 30 minutes, but it was the follow up email telling me about the added instructions that I thought was really good.

If you’re looking for an online TEFL that’s organised, full of information and has lots of info tactical aspects, I can happily recommend this company.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. At the beginning, everything seemed professional and well-organized, which gave me confidence to move forward. However, things changed once the work was completed.

I fulfilled my part as agreed, but unfortunately I did not receive the payment I was expecting. I reached out multiple times in a professional way, but the responses were either delayed or did not properly address the issue. This made the whole situation very frustrating.

What concerns me the most is the lack of accountability. Instead of resolving the matter clearly, I felt like I was being ignored. As a customer, you expect fairness and proper communication, but that was missing here.

Overall, my experience was not good, and I would advise others to be careful and ensure everything is clearly agreed upon before proceeding.

Staff were brilliant. I needed help with getting an apostille quickly, and they sent me to their partner notary who was able to get it sorted out within a week. The 120 hour course is the one I ended up going with. It goes into a lot of detail about all kinds of teaching aspects and has interesting assessments. I finished feeling confident about teaching but aware that I need to practice it for real now.

As a qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Education, I found the StudyTEFL course to be well designed and aligned with many modern teaching principles.

What I appreciated most was the educational philosophy behind the course. Student motivation, engagement, and meaningful communication are clearly valued throughout the material. The course contains many practical teaching ideas and clear explanations that are directly applicable in the classroom.

Great course with complete content in order to learn how to teach to kids, teenagers and adults. Although it does not emphasize deeply in each student age, it recommends a myriad of activities for each type of student (depending on age, starting knowledge, motivation and so on) It also shows real-class recordings so that you can learn from experienced and professional teachers.

This was a great experience, the lessons are so interesting and very insightful. I thought I was ready to handle an ESL class. But then, once I began my lessons with Study TEFL, I realized how much I was missing. Now I'm confident and ready to work knowing that I'm more than prepared, thanks to Study TEFL.

I spent time looking for a quality and affordable course, and I can say with all honesty, this course is a very big bargain for me. Thanks for offering such high quality course content at the cheapest affordable price. To prospective clients, if you are not ready to spend time and work hard, this course is not for you.

Pros: friendly and professional staff willing to answer questions (even one kind of obvious one that I realised I should'veknown the answer to!); lots of content to explain everything so beginners like me could feel confident; review activities and quizzes kept the info fresh in my mind; the classroom videos gave me a window into how teaching is (it's a bit different from what I had in my mind, but not in a bad way)

Cons: The pdf text took a couple of seconds to load; a few of the AI videos have a bit of ghosting; I spotted a few spelling/grammar mistakes (they did say they often change material and it leads to mistakes, but still)

On the whole, this was/is a great course and has left me feeling prepared for applying for jobs here.

The instructional videos are not narrated by real humans but AI 🤡🤡🤡 these people do not respect their students/customers at all. Don't waste your valuable money on here for such disrespect and humiliation.

I did the 120 hour course and thought it was amazing value. The content was clear and there were videos covering every bit of text in the units - this was important to me. Staff sent my certs through as soon as I passed the final and were quick to help me get my apostille sorted out even once I was done with the course. Amazing service!

IT was a completely professional course, proper material, good site and support, in general, I am very satisfied with it.
