Last year, my wife and I came to Spain with the idea of ​​buying an apartment or house on a golf course or on the coastline. We would like to put it on record that we have just completed the most stress-free property purchase, viewing a property on 3rd August 2020 and completing on it only 24 days later, on 27th August 2020, and that includes dealing with international law, a different currency and COVID 19.

In no small way, this is majorly down to the professionalism of one man – Misa Pavlovic. A great e-mail conversation was engaged into for a few weeks prior to our visit to Costa Blanca, ensuring that the correct planning was in place to make the limited time we had to view properties as efficient as possible and also allow us time to enjoy our time in Spain. Collating information and suggesting properties that would be of interest, based on our criteria, and as a result, fine-tuning the shortlist and understanding our likes and dislikes to the “T”.

Right from our collection at Alicante airport, aided by precise instructions given by Misa, he was welcoming and informative. He pointed out the places of interest and made practical suggestions that certainly helped our first time visit to Orihuela Costa a lot better. He assisted us with making connection with the agents of our own sourced accommodation in Torrevieja, enabling us to gain access easily. On the way to our accommodation, he took us to a supermarket to get food essentials, as we had arrived on a Sunday and could not check in until after 16:00, so local shops would have been shut. Shortly after picking us up at the airport, we had lunch by the sea and he gave us a map and information on the properties we were planning to see and informed us about what was going to happen over the next four days. With prompt arrival on all touring days, and clear and concise information about the areas visited and places of interest in each locale, our visits were made easy. He included a map and daily route matching the itinerary of the places we were going to view.

Everything was precise, which is the way we work, and fortunately, contingencies were also put in place, which worked in our favour. Each day on our property tour, when we stopped for lunch, Misa would recap the places viewed, if we liked or disliked, and for what reason, and discussed the ones for possible revisit. He allowed us all to discuss the pros and cons of each property and he would listen to our likes and dislikes and to our requests. When assessing the properties and locale, Misa would come up with sometimes obscure, but helpful, information and practical questions we did not think of to ask the vendor, for example communal fees and other aspects relating to each property. Misa also assisted us with negotiations and advice needed when we decided on a property to progress with, giving us all the information and introducing us to suppliers and to his colleagues to deal with every aspect of the purchase efficiently and speedily. He generally went above and beyond our expectations and requests and we are truly confident that we can deal with such a gentleman in the post-purchase period, and beyond.
