I wouldn’t bother as I’ve had a few remaps off them in the past been brilliant then the last 2 cars I’ve tryd to have remapped I’ve had nothing but problems few months ago booked to have my vaxall remapped and they rang me day before saying sorry there’s a glitch in system it then had to wait another week then booked a remapp for tomorrow the 9th they rang me just now to say it was a glitch and can’t have it done once again and got to wait another week so I’d avoid as if you book for day it should be done that day AVOID AVOID AVOiD

Had my car remapped this morning. Very professional, quick and polite. Very pleased and took the car out and what a difference. Actually feels alive. Would highly recommend. Had it done in the Lincoln area.

Michael has just done our 2nd car and as always he was on time, a good communicator and thorough with his work. The results are awesome and the cars are like a new experience. Thanks for your continued awesome service.

Simon made sure he gave me a run down of what he was doing and worked very well considering my work car park is extremely busy to get around, arrived on time and is a nice guy!

I have to say, I booked my car in for a remap and paid in advance. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from the owner, Gerard. He explained that while some cars appear on the lookup system, not all of them can actually be remapped. This can be due to model changes or because the specific ECU fitted to the vehicle cannot be remapped.

He took the time to explain in detail why this happens. The system is able to identify most vehicles, but it isn’t always sophisticated enough to determine the exact ECU fitted to each individual car. That level of detail has to be checked through other methods.

Needless to say, I was quite disappointed at first, especially as I had booked a day off work because I was really looking forward to getting some extra power from my BMW. However, after speaking with Gerard, he explained that because of the huge number of vehicles they cover and the size of the business, the lookup database is constantly being updated, although sometimes not quickly enough to reflect the very latest models.

I hadn’t realised just how big Superchips actually is. I remember them from the 90s, but I was surprised to learn that they complete around 600 vehicle remaps a month, along with about 200 general servicing jobs.

Although my vehicle couldn’t be mapped because it’s too new, Superchips kindly offered me a discount on my motorhome instead, which I really appreciated.

Overall, I have to say the experience was very professional. The team were down to earth, honest, and clearly have a genuine passion for good customer service.

My son had his golf gti mapped, unfortunately it didn’t perform as expected the car developed a couple of issues. Superchips acted very professional in resolving the issue with a full refund. The car is now returned to stock with no issues. Communication was very good. If you have any issues you must report within 14 days to have resolved.

Michael was great, good comms with arrival times, professional and completed the job fully in good time.
Took care with trim removal and everything left as was before the job.
My vehicle is now better at junctions and during the cruise where power was lacking previously.

Michael was a really helpful lad the job was super quick and then asked me to take the van out for a test run and it was quicker but had lacks in third gear come back spoke to him and he said let's have a look plugged it back in and messed about some more and got it just right really happy and couldn't fault it at all.

Michael was on time for my appointment, really helpful and informative about the remap. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Owen from Superchips (South East) highly enough. He worked straight through the pouring rain and freezing cold to get my car sorted without a single complaint. Dealing with Gerard and Superchips was very easy, I was looking around for a power/torque boost for my VW Camper and they had the best results, they also tested vehicles in the field so I had piece of mind with reliability. James helped get the map on remotely with HQ which I found very cool. Great company, great team. My Camper is very happy with the extra muscle....and it doesn't like to stall at low revs in 2nd anymore!!....which was embarrassing! I highly recommend Superchips, they did a great job for me and Vinnie the V Dub! He's now got similar hp to a BiTdi but with bags more torque, happy days!

Michael was a very nice polite chap. Arrived early and talked me through what he was doing and asked if I had any question and asked about any history on the car before proceeding which I thought was brilliant. Very professional and will definitely use again.

Just had a stage 1 remap to give me a bit more oomph, especially on the motorway. The whole experience was straightforward, from the booking team calling to confirm and James the technician keeping me updated prior to his visit. James was really good (and a nice chap to boot), came and got on with it and talked me through everything at the end. The extra power is certainly noticeable but not OTT and was a no brainer at the cost on offer... would thoroughly recommend.

UPDATE - Had a slight issue with the cruise control not working after the remap - no problem just emailed the team, Sam got in touch and arranged a new visit (kept me updated at all times), James visited solved the problem and all sorted... First class service!
