I’ve ordered lots of items from Surplus and Lost. Always had great service and spoken to James to refine my order. It’s used military surplus so expect there will be some flaws.
Overall a great company to do business with.

I experienced good customer service when I bought a Austrian M65 jacket. Arrived in good time.

Price very good. New unused.
Having worn for several weeks the advice I got was excellent.

Bought an item from this company on eBay after they underpaid the postage the item got held James refused to pay the surcharge and kept hold of my money for two weeks until ebay stepped in, very bad communication he’s actually ghosted me do not trust this company with your money because you might not get what you paid for avoid.

Absolutely shocking !!! Ordered a supergrade bergen recieved trash full of holes,was given a partial refund,seller obviously doesn't care what he sells on to people.

I recently ordered a parka from surplus & lost, but the zip broke off. I contacted James and he went above and beyond to help me out with getting out another. I’ve ordered from here many times before too, and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, the items have all been in great condition. I would absolutely recommend Surplus & Lost.

I needed a little bag (cheap) to carry some tools, and because everything on Ebay is junk, I ordered one from this website instead. Very competitive price. I then looked at some of the other reviews, and began to doubt if it would ever arrive. It didn't help that I received absolutely no email acknowledgment of my order. No invoice, no receipt - nothing. Nothing in my spam folder. The debit appeared on my online bank statement, and that was all. Nevertheless, it arrived in the post in the expected timeframe. Exactly as described, high quality item. They should fix their website to send automated invoices when someone makes an order. Otherwise, I feel lucky because my experience was good.

Ordered a bag from this company sent back for refund as not as described in photo and completely full of mold. How they could offer this item for sale and post it out is beyond me. Links inactive on website. Still awaiting a response?

Gotta give credit where it's due, the owner is very responsive and quick to reply to issues, compared to other businesses I have dealt with. Had an issue with a bag I bought and had a reply to rectify it super quickly. Will definitely order from the site again because of it.

Good stuff and fairly priced. Obviously surplus, and not brand new, but items are in good shape and absolutely serviceable, which is most important. Shipping was very fast. Will use again.

Ordered some overalls, listing and photos were correct, received a flight suit? Not even on their website, webpage links non-functional, item was sent with a specific request that if there was any issues to go through their site before opening a Paypal case, weeks went by and no response, went through PayPal, very late reply with a return label, sent the item back, still did not send the refund. In the end I had to claim it back through PayPal. Unresponsive failed at every stage of basic commercial operation.

Absolutely no quality control whatsoever! sent a bunch of absolute junk... useless gear... just because its surplus its still gotta be functional! The bags i recieved...one bag with a strap completely severed off and a makeshift loop had been stiched together, agreed a return but still haven't refunded me and ignoring my emails! Seem a decent bunch but can't accept responsibility for blatant ignorance

Order finally arrived and seems to be mostly A1 new condition, as promised. Arrived well packed in box, with adequate top inner packing materials to prevent moving around of items in transit.

I've ordered a few more bits from them now. Really loved looking through their website. Lots to discover and find out. The website is truly an education in worldwide army surplus. Perhaps one of the best that there is out there I do reckon now. (I've learned exactly how to best utilise their website on-board search function capability there now. Searching alphabetically, as well as for more general obvious specific search terms. Proved fruitful in finding bits I was especially after.)

I've had to fire off a couple of sizing queries. Hoping they do get back to me this time around. By email. One query is regarding a previously ordered line item. As what turned up wasn't actually what I'd specifically ordered. Although I will likely keep it.

Overall extremely pleased with their website and offered available range of items. Especially my acquired much wanted new unissued items of genuine military kit surplus sourced here.

Absolute pleasure to deal with. Top notch items at non-exorbitant prices. Will use them again.

(some) good gear, good prices, prompt delivery. what's not to like? happy to order again in the future.
