Sutton Bank who is responsible for their third party adminstrator such as Cashapp thinks it is ok that it took cashapp over a year to pay. 15000.00 dispute causing a single mother homeless. SUTTON NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY YOU GOING TO TAKE ON THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR THEN YOU RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS I HAVE REACHED OUT TO SUTTON WHO POINTS THE FINGER AT CASH APP SUTTON YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO MAKE SURE CASHAPP FOLLOWS THE EFTA GUIDELINES YOU ARE NO BETTER THEN THEY ARE YOU ARE THE ONES THAT HOLD THE CASHAPP BALANCES THEN YOU NEED TO FOLLOW FEDERAL GUIDELINES.

This is concerning their handling of their mydisbursementcard.com gift cards (Mastercard's). I get these quite often as my place of business has Ga lottery machines that pays out with them. Every single one I get (at least one a week usually) gets a hold put on it after I use it 2 or 3 times in a row. Then I have to wait another 7-10 business days to get my money. This is absolutely unacceptable. EVERY SINGLE ONE! I used to be able to just call and verify my transactions and they removed the hold, but for the last year, they claim to ONLY be able to send you a new card and deactivate your current card. To make matters worse, you cannot understand ANYONE at their customer service line!! This is infuriating and extremely inconvenient, especially when you live paycheck to paycheck and need that money for groceries and gas! It cannot possibly be legal for them to hold your money all the time! If they are to continue with this, they should be responsible for overnighting your new card, not making you wait 10 days!

Sutton Bank Plata-Pay stole $150 out of my account. No explanation, just shut my card down and took my money. I have contacted the necessary sources to receive my money back. DO NOT USE SUTTON BANK. THEY STEAL MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS. I WILL NEVER USE THIS BANK AGAIN!

Avoid this "bank" like its partner in crime Metabank, Sutton is just as fraudulent as just as much of dead end too. Likewise Sutton is partly involved in how useless prepaid cards at Walgreens are.

A $500 Vanilla Visa gift card was purchased in December 2021 for a staff member as a Christmas bonus. There is no expiration date on the card, and so she didn't feel she had to use it right away. Today, she went to use it and found out it had been hacked in February. It was next to impossible to get in touch with a live customer service representative. She was put into an hour-long phone loop and then tried going online. There is just told her to call the number she had already called. She finally spoke to a representative who told her that because the charges had occurred the month prior, she could no longer refute them. This is absolutely unacceptable. Do not use Vanilla Gift Cards or Sutton Bank.

I purchased a Vanilla gift card for $75.00 for my daughter Monday, December 23rd for a Christmas gift. I gave it to her Christmas. She tried using it the next day and the card was invalid. She then tried using it on Amazon card was declined. I called the number on back of card I was told by their representative I will I have to wait up to 15 business days to get a new card. I read comments on other websites other people get these same cards from Vanilla and they do not work and they lose their money. I am a single mom and this $75 took me a whole day of working overtime to come up with this money. Now my daughter has no Christmas gift. I tried talking to a supervisor see could we speed it up the process so she would have to wait so long for a replacement card. I was hung up on by a very rude gentleman. I just want what I paid for. Sutton Bank has ruined my daughters Christmas. I do not have another $75 to give her. This is a terrible company. Make sure you are not buying a Vanilla Visa Cards you can get ripped off. Sutton bank owns this company and offered no help to me and they won't for you either.
