Well organized, beautiful destination, and nice group size. Loved that the guides and boat crew were very safety minded. This is very important, in my mind, especially when dealing with different water conditions.

Took my first 1 week solo trip with swim trek in June 2026, I can’t fault the experience, it was fantastic. The guides were excellent and the organisation was brilliant. I would highly recommend a trip with them if you like open water adventure holidays with like minded people!

Our Croatia SwimTrek holiday exceeded every expectation, and a huge part of that was down to our exceptional guides and skipper.
From the very first day, the guides Ant and Kim’s combined professionalism, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm created an unforgettable experience. Their knowledge of the local area, attention to safety, and ability to cater for different swimming abilities meant everyone felt confident, supported, and encouraged throughout the trip. Every swim was carefully planned, brilliantly briefed, and accompanied by fascinating insights into the stunning Croatian coastline and islands.
Our skipper was equally outstanding. Calm, skilled, and accommodating, he ensured everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes while always greeting us with a smile. The boat became a welcoming home between swims, and the local knowledge added an extra dimension to the adventure.
What truly set the team apart was their warmth and positivity. They created an atmosphere that was fun, inclusive, and relaxed, bringing together a group of strangers who quickly felt like friends. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their passion for what they do shone through every day.
The combination of spectacular swimming, breathtaking scenery, and such a dedicated, professional crew made this one of the best holidays we have ever taken. We left with incredible memories, new friendships, and a strong desire to return. Thank you to the entire team for making our Croatia SwimTrek adventure so special.

Wonderful SwimTrek Swimming Adventures
We had a wonderful experience on the Ithaca SwimTrek. Fabulous guides and absolutely magnificent coastal landscapes to swim in. SwimTrek is such a great way to get up close and personal with remote and unique beaches. I love including a week of swimming within a larger travel itinerary.

My SwimTrek vacation in Sardinia
My SwimTrek vacation in Sardinia, Italy was one of the most spectacular travel experiences of my life. Each day, our group swam approximately 7 kilometers through the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by Sardinia’s breathtaking coastline, hidden coves, and dramatic rock formations. The daily swims were both physically rewarding and visually stunning, offering a unique perspective of the island that few visitors ever experience. The warm sunshine, vibrant turquoise water, and sense of adventure made every swim unforgettable.
What truly elevated the trip was the exceptional support provided by the SwimTrek team. Our two guides (Aless & Sam) were knowledgeable, encouraging, and attentive, ensuring that every swimmer felt safe and confident while enjoying the challenge of the open water. Equally impressive was our boat captain (Luca), whose skill and professionalism allowed the group to focus entirely on the beauty of the experience. Together, they created an atmosphere of camaraderie, fun, and trust that made the journey even more special. By the end of my six (6) days, I had not only completed an incredible swimming adventure but also created memories that I will cherish for years to come.

These trips are fantastic. I have been to the Sea of Cortez twice and had a safe, structured experience seeing amazing sea life and meeting new friends in a way that doesn't feel exploitative of the natural environment.

Super company
Super company, have been on 8 of their trips now and none have disappointed. Excellent guides, boats and we are made to feel very safe at all times. It is clear they have excellent relationships with the companies and boat captains used at every location. All seamlessly done.
