I use a Swisscows Platinum subscription. The search engine is PG-13, filtering explicit content which I enjoy as a Muslim. You can also customize the results you see with Pro/Platinum. They have a strong privacy policy, only collecting data for diagnostics & improving the censoring (anonymized after 1 week). The email is decent, it's E2E. The VPN isn't anything extraordinary compared to Mullvad, Windscribe, or Proton but it works for casual browsing protection. Overall, intriguing freemium, great privacy, good features, decent ecosystem & nice design.

Ich hatte mich ursprünglich für eine Beteiligung bei Swisscows entschieden, weil mir das Unternehmen als werteorientiert, ehrlich und glaubensbasiert vorgestellt wurde. Gerade diese Verbindung von Technologie, Vertrauen und christlichen Grundsätzen fand ich sehr ansprechend.

Leider wurde ich im Verlauf meiner Erfahrung zunehmend enttäuscht.
Ich habe mehrfach schriftlich Kontakt aufgenommen, um klare Auskünfte und die Rückzahlung meiner Einlage zu erhalten. Trotz wiederholter, freundlicher und sachlicher Schreiben – teils mit ausdrücklichem Bezug auf Fairness und christliche Werte – blieb eine verbindliche Rückmeldung oder Auszahlung bis heute aus.

Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass in den Antworten immer wieder Verständnis und Glaubensbezüge erwähnt wurden, ohne dass diesen Worten konkrete Handlungen folgten. Wer sich auf den Namen Jesu Christi beruft, sollte meiner Meinung nach auch im geschäftlichen Handeln Wahrhaftigkeit, Transparenz und Verlässlichkeit leben.

Ich habe großes Verständnis für unternehmerische Herausforderungen, aber kein Verständnis für fehlende Kommunikation und gebrochene Zusagen.
Gerade in einem Umfeld, das sich bewusst auf Vertrauen und Werte stützt, erwartet man Offenheit, klare Informationen und den Willen, Konflikte ehrlich zu lösen.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass Swisscows künftig mehr Transparenz gegenüber Anlegern zeigt und die gelebten Werte wieder in den Vordergrund stellt – sonst verlieren gute Ideen und ehrliche Ansätze ihr Fundament.

Swisscows rühmt sich mit Professionalität. Leider sitzen dort 3 Leute, die dort an Herrn W.s 10 Projekten arbeiten, während Herr W. durch die Weltgeschichte reist. Erreichbarkeit praktisch null. Von den Bewertungen der eigenen Leute sollte man sich hier auch nicht blenden lassen.

Eine absulut tolle Suchmaschine, der ich vertraue!
Ohne tracking und manipulation. Auch alle anderen Produkte von Swisscows nutze ich gern, vor allem VPN.

Mehr schein als sein, viele versprechen. gibt es die Firma noch. Am Anfang wurde es so aufgeblasen und dann folgte nichts mehr.

Decent search engine. Not fancy but ok. Able to trust it so far. Although was surprised at the bad reviews none of it happened to us!! It does not look genuine. Google on the other hand has become more notorious and a monopoly. bing is not very far from it. so let not create more oligopolies.

The search engine seams to work , but my experience with the company after buying one share in the company , not satisfying. After having now a share of this company for more then 1.1/2 years ( bought for prox: 2000 Euro one share ) I contacted the office to ask how I can sell my share and if they would buy the share back ( 2000 is not much for a company like that ) first I did not get any email reply . I contacted the CEO directly ( whom I know ) he told me he will take care of it . The answer I got from the office was very disappointing.
1) that they don’t buy the share back
2) that I can either sell it myself or join a waiting list 🤔( waiting list - because of one share ???) are there so many selling now there shares ? If yes why ? Why can a company like that not buy one share back ? A company with this size or internet presence should be able to pay 2000 for their own share . Very disappointing, when I bought the share I was not informed that it will be so difficult to exchange one share . Guess I made the mistake trusting people because I knew them . The whole “family-friendly” is just another way they ban the LGBTQ community in a lot of search results. I was trying to find an article on a gay actor I’m getting ready to interview, and they banned his name across the search engine for no reason?! But he's all over GOOGLE, Bing, Yahoo, and everywhere else! Do not trust this homophobic search engine.

Absolut hervorragende Suchmaschine! Für mich als Vater mit 5 Kindern genau das was ich brauche. Google sofort deinstalliert ! Jetzt nutzen wir alle Swisscows. Kinder finden den Namen witzig :-)

Außergewöhnlicher Service! Bei technischen Problemen habe ich am gleichen Tag (Wochenende) Hilfe erhalten.

I like this alternative search engine. Very easy to use. You immediately notice that the results are neutral. Are not adapted to my search behavior. Which I think is really great!

As soon as I try to open it I get a black screen so until somebody tells me why Swisscows won't open I cannot give it any better score. I was so hoping I could find a non-liberal search engine!
