This the third bed we have bought from Taurus beds and we haven’t been disappointed. They produce high quality furniture at a competitive price and deliver far quicker than some of the larger retail outlets.

Great service from the delivery guys who carried it all upstairs and put it together. The bed frame is exactly what I needed and the quality is just as good as the one I got from them about 30 years ago and still going strong today.

Having needed to replace my mattress earlier this year, I went shopping for a replacement - and ended up going to Taurus Beds.

Not only did staff confirm that was where I got the last mattress from, but they could see exactly when I bought it (and confirming that, after how many years of use, it was due for replacement)! Staff were patient, gracious and helpful as I looked around the showroom. Also, Covid-sensible; e.g. masks, distancing. Timescale for delivery was as promised - and the delivery itself was quick and efficient - the delivery team were literally in and out: brought in the new mattress and collected the old one.

Plus, the new mattress is exactly what I want and need. So now, I can rest easy.

This is our second super king bed from Taurus Beds. Came back because we love our first one that we bought about five years ago. The second bed looks slightly different, but similarly of an excellent quality (beautifully designed, with attention to detail and very sturdy). We purchased in store (shortly after the COVID restrictions were partially lifted), got all our questions answered patiently by a highly knowledgeable manager; the bed got delivered on time and even assembled in our bedroom by a skilful worker! This is what I call ‘service excellence’. Highly recommend this vendor. Will definitely come back when we need another bed.

I bought my first mattress from Taurus when I was living just up the road from them in North London, after more than 30 years this mattress has finally got to the point where it needed replacing. There is so much choice in mattresses that I struggled but I did not want something full of plastic (both for environmental reasons and because I get too hot if I lie on anything synthetic). I then found that Taurus was still in business and still making their own in North London. I bought a Pocket Sprung 1000 Mattress which my partner and I are now sleeping on and very happy with.
The mattress was delivered within the 2 hour slot stated and the delivery guys unpacked it and put it on the frame, so no hassle for me at all.
A few points worth noting:
The Protect a Bed Cotton Cool Mattress Protector which I bought with the mattress is not pure cotton but has some sort of synthetic waterproof back - shame, as I found it far too hot.
Modern sprung mattresses are much deeper than older mattresses and the depth of this one was a real surprise (looking a other makes, some are even deeper). So check that your bed frame will take them, and you may need new sheets.
The Taurus website could give more information on their website about the composition of their mattresses. I had to ask about the plastic content, but eventually had to compromise because the totally natural mattresses seemed to be more than double the price. Just a bit more detail on the website would have been useful and I would not have bought the mattress protector had I known.
I look forward to another 30 years on a Taurus mattress but this time it may last longer than I do.

I would award more stars if I could. Outstanding service and I am over the moon with the quality the Salus mattress. I was thrilled that the mattress could be delivered within 2 weeks of placing the order. The delivery team arrived promptly as scheduled. I allowed the mattress to sit in the sun and ventilate before placing it on the bed and there was no new mattress smell.
Excellent value for the exceptional quality of this 1000 pocket spring and foam top mattress. Taurus beds beats the online companies hands down.
