I've been working with Telmo's team at Taxbordr — International Tax Advisors, Lda — for two years, and Carol has handled our filings throughout.

What I value most is that nothing is left half-finished. Our 2024 returns turned into a complicated case: while the matter was still being regularised, the Tax Authority created instalment plans on its own initiative, and the portal kept showing amounts with no real basis behind them. Carol went back through it, explained exactly what each entry meant, and stayed with it until everything was properly closed.

The 2025 returns went through cleanly — self-employment income under the simplified regime, foreign income correctly reported, and both assessments checked against what had been filed before they even reached us.

Clear explanations, answers that actually answer the question, no surprises. We're carrying on with them.

I had a difficult and extensive tax situation to handle and was searching for a tax advisor where I had no need to go to Lisbon several times or have constant meetings and calls, since my free time is very limited. Already 2 hours after reaching out over a chat function ( on a Sunday! ), Telmo answered me very friendly and professional and wanted to gather more information about the issue and already a few days later he presented me a draft of an invoice about the discussed amount and was ready to do his magic. Telmo and Carol were constantly working on my case I had the impression since they provided me permanent feedback and also I could see the first results very soon. After not even 2 months the majority of my requests were handled with a positive outcome. During this time I always had the feeling that both of them were eager to answer my questions and to find the best and not the fastest resolution if necessary.
