It was super easy to use and the accountant assigned to me, Tony Smith, was super helpful and made everything go smoothly. The experience was fantastic and will be using this service for all tax related matters.

Overall, a good service which I'd certainly use again. I had an issue with the original accountant assigned to me, but Taxfix dealt with this promptly. The second accountant assigned to me was very efficient and had my Corporation Tax returns, etc ready for my review within a day or two; top marks to him.

I paid for a return and consultation (two services, offered as a package) two years in a row.

Regarding the return service: To be fair, the concept of the web form to collect information in a structured manner is helpful to the layperson.

However, in the most recent year, I identified a £250 correction that the accountant needed to make - even though the numbers were clearly given using the webform.

Regarding the consultation service: After Year 1 filing, I had a consultation scheduled. The accountant ended up going off work with TaxScouts for personal reasons, until the new filing season. Fine. TaxScouts/TaxFix refunded me - which was a bit annoying because I bought a discounted package service. But I overlooked that annoyance with TaxFix, and I reconnected with the same accountant again for the Year 2, being forgiving and understanding of whatever personal reasons required them to take time off.

However, Year 2 comes: Delay after delay, and very slow responses, to scheduling the consultation service. At the last minute before the booked consultation, they delayed again; and the TaxFix system then recorded it as having happened because it was not formally rescheduled. Key here is that the accountant was delaying, not me, and this is all clearly on record. I have been unable to get the accountant to reschedule or respond for several weeks, except a message in which they fairly acknowledge that the consultation did not happen - again, this is clearly and succinctly on record.

I am now awaiting to hear from TaxFix on a refund again - but I have spent several hours over many months, trying to get the consultation session to happen. I need / deserve more than a simple refund now, as this is two years of below-par service - where I've been convinced to pay for a package service sold as a discount, and then reimbursed when they could only complete half the service.

As a full time employee, having to submit a Self Assessment to HRMC can be difficult. However, I was given Taxfix recommendation from a work colleague who also had a great experience, simply put, I would certainly recommend them as an online accountancy company, very reasonable accountancy charges. The self assessment process was very straight forward, yes you need to get some information together for you self assessment but the Tax Fix consultants work through the information needed to submit you assessment files.

Really good affective, efficient accountants, who are on the ball and quick to respond and answer any queries you may have.
Easy to follow questionnaire and the uploading of documents need for the tax return.
This is the 2nd time I have used Taxfix (formally TaxScouts) and would use again and recommend.
