Avoid for Family Transfers
We booked a return VIP transfer with Alpstria for our family (3 adults, 2 children aged 2 and 4). While the vehicle was high-quality, the management's conduct was unprofessional and predatory.
​Our 2-year-old became travel-sick on the mountain road. We immediately asked the driver to pull up, took the children out, cleaned and changed them and cleaned the vehicle ourselves with antibacterial wipes, then covered the seats with nappy chsnge pads for rest of the journey. Despite our good-faith efforts, the driver repeatedly harangued us for a "€100 cleaning fee" while we were caring for a distressed child. Whilst we felt a cleaning fee was warranted, it showed a distinct lack of empathy to demand this in the middle of caring for our children and to expect cash payment on the spot, rather than sending an email with an invoice for the actual cleaning fee. The situation escalated at Innsbruck Airport. A "manager" met the vehicle and followed our family into the airport terminal and the check-in queue. He made loud, disparaging comments in public ("So, you puked in the taxi?") and arbitrarily increased the fee from €100 to €150. We felt harassed and pressured into paying the inflated amount on the spot just to be allowed to check in for our flight.
​When we contacted the company to complain, their written response was defensive, insulting, and filled with inaccuracies. If you are looking for a stress-free, empathetic family service in the Alps, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. A "VIP" price tag should not come with public harassment.

The airport taxi was late by around 45mins but seemed it was due to late arrival of the previous booking - it was at peak season. However the young lad tried to help and I felt it was beyond their control. The return journey from the Solden Hotel to Innsbruck was perfect. Mercedes Vito 9 seater taxis were used for our trip of 5 plus luggage and a snowboard. I would use them again.

After struggling to find a taxi firm to transfer us, our luggage and my husband's wheelchair from Innsbruck airport to Mayrhofen it was wonderful to find this company corresponded promptly to my initial request so we booked a return journey. On each way the driver was ready and waiting for us before the appointed time, the vehicles were very clean inside and out, so comfortable and spacious. Both drivers were lovely: helpful, pleasant and efficient, lifting my husband's wheelchair as well as our luggage.
Will definitely use again and fully recommend.

Update:
After some back and forth via email, they finally agreed to issue a full refund. It turns out there was a typo in the phone number I provided. That said, the driver was supposedly at the airport but nowhere to be found — and they made no attempt to contact me by email or wait at the arrivals terminal where I would have been easy to spot. All of this could have been avoided if someone had simply picked up the phone on their 24/7 hotline.

Do not use this service, it's a scam. They charged my credit card but the driver never showed up for our 5:30am pick-up at Munich airport. Nobody picked up the phone on their hotline either. We had to take a cab for a 3 hour drive instead now.

Had a terrible experience with them
- Came 30 minutes late for the pick up and started communication about this 5 minutes after the time they should have been there
- Claimed they had less delay then they did when I confronted them with it until I showed my communication as proof
- Driver could not communicate in English and you cant reach the company quickly directly during a delay
- After various complaints still claimed it was very busy though it is their job to know that the Saturday after the Christmas holiday is very busy and arrange accordingly (as other guests in the hotel with different services were on time)
With late communication (only after they should have shown up), not owning their mistakes and hard to get hold of all in all a very poor experience as I can also relate to some of the points written here already. Driver was also overspeeding and constantly checking his phone though my wife was in the taxi with 2 small children.... Claimed to be cheap but there are also cheaper alternatives out there

Alpistra contacted me after my 1 star review and asked me to remove it. This was their response when I questioned what was in it for me...apparently other customers will now be ignored completely when their ride from Alpistra does not turn up. Please use another firm in case this happens to you.

You are of course right, but that day we had a lot of orders and that's why we commissioned a sub company to carry out this order, but he forgot, now we asked him for the difference that you paid more and transferred it to you, what else should we do It's not fair to be punished even though you can't actually do anything about it. We have four months of service a year as an airport shuttle and we only live off the money for the rest of the summer. It really does a lot of damage to our company. We try to provide the best service with the least amount of money Everyone can make mistakes, we just have to be happy that nothing bad happened. It would have been better if we had ignored you completely and not even transferred the money to them. It would have been fair. We should do this to others in the future if we make mistakes No, I would like to ask you once again to delete this comment. We are all human beings who can make mistakes

Alpstria Taxi Innsbruck was a joy! They were waiting for us when we landed, helped us with our luggage and delivered us to our hotel in super quick time. On the return leg our driver was on time and again very helpful.
We would definitely use them again.

Unfortunately, our experience with this company was terrible. Our driver was 25 minutes late with no apology or explanation. We had a very difficult time trying to get ahold of anyone to find out where he was - the call was finally picked up after trying 4 times. The driver exceeded the speed limit, sometimes by quite a lot, for the entire 2 hour trip (I guess technically not when we were on the autobahn) and nearly crashed into someone in his impatience. When we arrived at the airport, he demanded cash, saying that his credit card machine was broken (we had told them in advance we would be paying by card). When we said that we didn't have any cash, magically the card machine was pulled out and seemed to be working just fine. We asked for a discount given how late he was and the stress the whole ordeal had caused us and he started yelling at us that our stress was not his problem and that he didn't care that he was late picking us up - and he then actually asked us for more money than had been agreed! If we didn't have a flight to catch that we were getting late for, we would not have paid him after how abusive he became. I emailed the company to let them know what had happened and they have not have the decency to reply. Of all of the many travel arrangements we had on our 6 week trip, this is the only one that was terrible. I cannot believe they run their business this way. Avoid at all costs - there are plenty of other companies who treat their customers with respect and kindness (and are on time). This one does not.

Return trip to Innsbruck airport - taxi did not turn up, I called several times, was told he was 5 minutes away as driver had gone to the wrong hotel. I am afraid I think that was a lie, luckily we were able to book a local firm, left 40 minutes after our planned departure time. Fingers crossed we make our flights. On and to add insult to injury they stopped answering my calls. Terrible service please use alternative .

Alpstria Taxi ist TOP sehr verlässlich unsere Flug hatte Verspätung über 5 Stunden wahr kein Problem.

Used this company for a recent trip to kitzbuhel for 4 of us skiing. Driver was waiting at innsbruck as arranged. He was clearly visible. He was polite and considerate delivering us to our accomadation on time and professionally. Return trip again perfect. The driver collected us bang on time and again a smooth transfer to the airport. In all an a1 service and would recommend.

We could not have wished more. Erkan met us at the airport with a big smile and got us to our destination perfectly and promptly. Would very much recommend.
