Pre booked Airport pick up for 5.30am previous evening driver was 20mins late rang office asviced driver not been allocated. Shocking customer service no apologies given. Will not use again.

TC Cars were brilliant! I had to wait for a while but, as l was on my own, the operator called me 3 times and the driver contacted me to make sure I was OK too. They were very apologetic but it was a very busy night at The NEC!

Awful and dangerous!
Many many taxis I've had from this company over many years .Unfortunately a majority of the drivers either have no clue where they're going or even what I'm saying. If you work in an industry like a taxi service ,you should atleast know basic English. Also they overcharge and the wait button is being pressed whenever! the car stops to wait in traffic, ie traffic lights or ques .Abysmal services offered .Avoid !! I'd recommend local radio cars but they have taken on the worst of the worst ex TC drivers

Don’t waste your time 45 mins we waited phoned up 5 times 5 different operators the taxi went to wrong address lied about the time and sending a driver out sticking with UBER I should of checked the low reviews WASTE OF TIME !
after reading all the comments on here why is this company still operating ? Trading Standards need to be contacted AVOID these cowboys!

I had made up my mind I wanted a Volvo SUV. My husband said no.
Luke from TC Brentwood called, I told him why I chose XC40, Luke said it was a good choice but for what my requirements were I needed an XC90. He convinced my husband just to come & look.
We turned up unannounced, I saw the car, I loved it on sight. Luke did an amazing job selling the dream to my other stubborn half. We walked out with the paperwork, signed & sealed. A week later the car is on my drive.
Thank you Luke, you fought for me like a lion, you even managed to make my husband smile, eventually.

I usually use Uber or Bolt, but I had difficulty ordering from them on this occasion, and when I did manage to book a ride, the Bolt driver refused to take my pet. I was aware of TC Cars/Take Me, so I decided to give them a try.

The driver, Khadim H, arrived within a reasonable time. He was absolutely lovely, and we ended up chatting about cats almost the entire journey! I explained the issues I'd had with other services, and he kindly offered to wait for my return journey, expressing concern that I might face similar problems again. This gesture was truly appreciated.

The journey itself was smooth, and Khadim drove with due care and attention throughout. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend TC Cars/Take Me to anyone.

I used the app to pre-book a taxi to the airport 48 hrs before, which was confirmed. I then got a link to pre-pay, which I did. However, a taxi never came. I cancelled the booking and I had to use an Uber instead (I live rural, so an Uber can be hit and miss). Very, very poor service. I am now trying to get my money back.

Useless!! Cancelled without letting us know. After multiple calls they pretended signal was bad! Got an Uber!

Awful, booked a ride the day before online and called to confirm and amend address. Needed to get to station as flying to New Zealand. The taxi didn’t turn up on time, and when I called the controllers were very nonchalant and said there no drivers in the area and they were looking but that’s how it was. Dreadful. Also they said I hadn’t called in person. I said I had actually in addition to online. Taxi eventually turned up but now late and 4 trains instead of 3 to Manchester Airport. Not sure if I’ll make the flight. Just dreadful and even worse customer service. Felt sorry for the driver as he had to listen to me.

Called a taxi for a vulnerable lady in her 80s ( arranged with family to meet her at the other end) from our dementia day centre.
An Asian male driver arrived and because he had to wait for myself and colleague to get her in the car he verbally abused myself and colleague by calling us t*ats and sped off with the lady in the car and told us all to F*** off. I have never met anyone so rude and luckily there were members of the public to witness his
behaviour. I Telephoned to complain and no one has yet called us back about his disgraceful behaviour towards us and having an elderly person in their vehicle and behaving in this manner.
Totally unacceptable for a local company who claim to have excellent customer service. Martin Smith should be ashamed of the people he employs as a handful of them have no people skills at all.
This used to be a reputable company but it is no more I'm afraid and hasn't been for the past 20 years.

Phoned a taxi 8.25 in morning had a very urgent hospital appointment at QE 50 mins later still waiting.phoned to see where car was Asian lady shouted I carnt understand what your saying and put phone down.disgusting,very unprofessional, where do they get the staff customer service diabolical has definitely gone down hill since took over absolute shambles.usless caused a lot of anxiety and stress staff on phones need to work on social skills😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Bad customer service as they did not have a driver ready to get me to work for 10:30 am eventhough I had prebooked it.

What’s happened to this company?! Called up and spoke to a woman in the early hours about needing a taxi at 6:30am to take us to the airport. She booked us an estate car for luggage and pushchair and said it was all booked in.

6:30 - get a phone call. I assume it’s the driver calling to say they’re outside. It’s the office saying they don’t have a people carrier (it was an estate car that was booked…), I said we didn’t need a people carrier, just an estate car (which was booked) and she said oh we’ve got one of them, we’ll get it on the way to you it’ll be there in about 10 minutes. 15 minutes later - (and 15 minutes late) I call up and a bloke answers - “yeah we haven’t got any cars, sorry”. Uber to the rescue.

Avoid this once very reliable company…

So wrong to leave you standing and shivering in a dark country lane. Happily accepted my booking, didn’t arrive, I had to call them for them to say they couldn’t service my booking 30mins after pick up time. Missed our table booking at the restaurant and considering we are not local it’s not something we can do again. SO SO POOR AVOID AVOID

What has happened to this once reliable company? If you’re booking T.C. Cars now hoping to get you to an appointment on time don’t bother!!! I even received a notification to say it was on its way but it never turned up. When I queried how long my taxi would be I was told “there is not a driver currently in your area as they’re self employed”!! Followed by “making a booking does not guarantee you a driver” even when you’ve booked several hours in advance. Absolutely shocking avoid like the plague!!

Sadly more of what people have already said! Booked taxi several hours before for journey to train station. Taxi didn't arrive! When called told that they were looking for a taxi for us! Hopeless. Rescued by very good friends although we did miss our original train. Never again!

Booked a taxi, said was on the way with a 15 to 20 minute wait. 45 minutes later with the track me application apparently the taxi had been cancelled. No warning just left to wait and arrange other transport

Didnt read reviews before booking a ride from station to a theatre in Birmingham with return last night. Neither showed up. Rang from station to ask what entrance they would be at but just got 'he will ring when there'. Needless to say he didn't arrive. Look elsewhere for reliable taxis we used 24 7 carz in end, friendly helpful driver

Booked a car on their website 2 days before, trip all accepted. On the day, they didn’t show up. I called and asked why - they said “they don’t serve where I live”. Caused us big problems getting our little one to school. Avoid at all costs, very poor after service too, they put the phone down on me when I asked who regulated them!
