Demi is just what I wanted
I have had my Demi for about a month and I absolutely love it. Works perfectly as described, love that it keeps track of the required cleaning and maintenance and I've found it is not fussy at all. I'd say that once I got the beans I like and the grind setting right, it makes 9/10 espresso. I'm sure if I became a real hobbiest and got a machine with more customization I could get to 10/10, but I just want anyone at my house to easily be able to make a really good espresso, latte, or Americano. I haven't quite found the drip coffee setting to be a very useful, just because the coffee I'd want as a drip (light roast on the fruity side) doesn't make great espresso. Customer service has been fast and great. Keep in mind the first response comes from a chatbot, but I've found the chatbot to be pretty accurate and then had a human follow up to make sure.
So far, so good!
Recently ordered and received my TK-02. Shipment tracking was kept up to date and packaged well. Had to reach out to customer service about the ground coffee spoon as there was a spot for it in the packaging, but no spoon was included. Customer service was quick to replay and let me know they stopped shipping the spoon but it’s equivalent to 1 1/2 tablespoons. So far no issues with the machine, easy to set up and use right away.
I’ve purchased the TK-01 and TK-02
I’ve purchased the TK-01, TK-02 and now have preordered the Aero. The customer service is fantastic and the machines are some of the best automatic espresso machine on the market. I greatly enjoy not having to deal with emptying pucks after every brew like I’ve had to with previous machines in the past. It saves so much time and mess having them all collected into a nice bin.
The tech on the TK-02 is what sets the machine apart from most, quality customized brews every time, and wonderful customer service. They’ve always been so kind and helpful with any issue.
Demi, the perfect little Espresso machine
I purchased a Terra Kaffe Demi about a month ago. The product does exactly as described. I was looking for an espresso machine that was simple, had a small footprint and didn’t have all the milk apparatuses. The machine is a workhorse. I would also like to add that it heats water extremely fast. I did have one issue that was completely my fault and TK’s support was right on it, responded in a matter of minutes and had me pointed in the right direction.

We Love everything we Brew with the Terra Kaffe. We had one small Boo Boo due to incorrectly putting it back together after a significant cleaning. I emailed them and within the hour, they sent me very EASY instructions to fix. It was fixed and ready to brew in 10-minutes. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you ALEX. I now have 6 happy engineers that can be normal again:-) THANK YOU!
Terrible experience with the Demi…
Terrible experience with the Demi machine. Upon setting it up, water leaked and there was no explanation. Customer service told us to pull the brew unit out and check it. Turns out the brew unit was jammed and would not come out. We decided to return the defective machine, but Terra Kaffe plays games’ — they try to get you to get a replacement unit. We said ‘no’ — just give us our money back. Your sense is that this company is over its head, they don’t seem organized and, frankly, they’re marketing savvy, but so caught up in ‘success’ they’ve lost sight of the fundamental concept that makes great companies — great design and good service. Both lacking here. Run away, don’t walk. Oh, and it’s made in China. Cheap, plastic, mass-produced.
There's a lot of hate but I've has a good experience so far
First of all, this is my first Super Automatic Coffee machine, I never thought about getting one and got a TK-01 second hand, probably from a second hand user that was frustrated, I contacted Customer service without expecting a lot since there were a lot of bad reviews. This being said, I was really surprised of how quick their response was, I was immediately on the phone with a representative that walked me thru some troubleshooting steps and I had to send the machine for a repair, I understand how frustrating it should be to buy an expensive machine just to get it repaired afterwards, but that was a year ago, the machine came back quickly fully functional and has been like that for 1k+ beverages after that, I do take well care of the machine, descaling and cleaning every week.
Talking about TK-01, it's a messy product, requires a lot of cleaning and maintenance but it completely changed my routine for good and saved me hundreds on coffee shops.
I'm upgrading to the TK-02 once my TK-01 stops working but it haven't done so, customer support has been excellent at least for me and I only give 4 stars since I had to send it for repairs once.

I had preordered the Demi and when I found out that the color I had chosen was not available until much later, they were able to quickly change my order to a different color and shipped my Demi immediately. Keyree was able to get everything sorted out in a timely fashion. As for the product, I have been enjoying my Demi for about 2 weeks now as a birthday present to myself, and I’m not disappointed. The drinks are strong, brewed well and the machine is sleek, user friendly, and beautiful.

Customer Service gets the stars
Our TK-02 has performed well since it arrived. We recently had to send it in for repair. The Customer Service team - in our case, led by Tai - were terrific. They were both responsive and communicative from beginning to end. There is room for improvement in the overall process, but they did right by us.
Demi is the best
I purchased the Demi and it is incredible. Makes the best coffee better than going to Starbucks and less expensive. Easy to use and best designed coffee machine I have ever seen. Alex and Cate were great and fast answering my questions.

I strongly don’t recommend buying this ridiculous machine. It’s more like a toy and will only cause headaches. In the morning—right when you want your coffee and don’t have time to deal with endless issues—it will help you start your day with nothing but negative energy. When you try to contact customer support to solve the problems, all they can say is “sorry.” So, you should only buy it if you’re intentionally looking to hurt yourself.

Worst crema coffee machine ever made. The first one went out just after warranty sent it back for repairs 185.00. That one broke. Bought a refurbished at the reduced price of 400 dollars. It broke after 6 months unrepairable. This is all after literally dozens and dozens of service phone calls. They can’t even repair their own machines. The machine has so many issues it’s hard to actually explain them all. It’s unreal how bad this product is. DO NOT BUY ONE.

Title: Faulty Machine, Stonewalled by Leadership, and Forced to Pay for Defects
I bought a Terra Kaffe TK-01 and expected a premium product. Instead, I got a machine that was poorly built, failed early, and left me battling with customer support for months.
The brew unit seized up, and when I attempted to remove it, the entire internal assembly fell apart in my hands. Instead of acknowledging this as a clear manufacturing defect, Terra Kaffe made me pay $180 for an out-of-warranty repair.
I had extensive communication with Cate Marques, the company’s Chief Experience Officer. Unfortunately, rather than listening or trying to find a fair resolution, she stonewalled me at every step. From my experience, she showed no interest in taking my situation seriously — at least not from a positive or supportive perspective.
This has nothing to do with “protocols” or “policies.” It’s about a company knowingly pushing out cheaply made machines and then making customers foot the bill when they fail. Meanwhile, Terra Kaffe continues to plow ahead with new product launches instead of standing behind their first machine and fixing their mistakes.
⚠️ Bottom line: My TK-01 was a $1,000+ lesson in how not to buy a coffee machine. The build quality is fragile, the support is dismissive, and leadership is unresponsive. Don’t make the same mistake — go with a trusted brand like Jura, De’Longhi, or Breville instead.
Awful product and customer service
Awful product and customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Originally I shipped my black TK-01 machine for repairs back in May after it broke after only a year. They shipped me back a machine that was scratched, dirty, and had missing parts. Eduardo is the customer service representative emailing me back and forth. After I consistently followed up, they offered me a refund and to send me a different black TK-01 machine. I then received the shipping receipt and saw it was a white machine, so I emailed them and told them to correct it before they shipped it out. Eduardo said he would. Then the white machine showed up. Eduardo apologized and said they would correct it again. I then got ANOTHER WHITE MACHINE shipping receipt that it was on the way. We’ve now been playing tag back and forth with them asking me to ship machines back. Meanwhile, I have no coffee machine to use for months. Ive resulted to messaging the CXO on LinkedIn as well as board members. As a company, why not at this point just ship someone a new black TK-02, say sorry, and be done with it. Unbelievable.
Frustrated
First off, i’m not one to leave a review ever but my experience has been so frustrating that I needed to share. My customer service agent Eduardo has been trying his best, but i’m extremely disappointed with the product and company. I got this machine as a gift in 2021 and have loved it. However, i started having issues with it a few months ago and it’s been nothing but downhill since. I sent it in for repair once already, only for it to be broken again just a few months later. I’m now told they can no longer service my machine, and i have to buy a refurbished one. i had to push to even get $50 taken off that price. I asked for expedited shipping as it’s now been a month (after going back and fourth for weeks trying to find a fix) and they aren’t doing that either. For the cost of this product, it’s not worth it. please do better.

We purchased the terra kaffee tk-02 brand new and really enjoyed it, until we had a malfunction with the milk frother. We contacted customer services and were able to get it shipped to terra kaffee for repairs. It took about 2 weeks until we got our machine back completely broken. Parts were not completely put in, leaving gaps in places where no gaps were previously. The machine didn't work at al now, didn't make coffee or even hot water.
We contacted customer service again and their solution was to send us a refurbished machine. I'm sorry, but if I wanted a second hand product I would have bought a second hand product.
We did not agree to this "solution" and are still waiting for a response. It's been 3 weeks going onto 4 weeks.
Really disappointed on how they manage customer services.
Unacceptable Design Flaw – Major Health Hazard
I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience warrants a serious warning to potential buyers: beware of hidden mold and the health risk this machine poses.
We discovered mold growing inside the unit, in an area you wouldn’t normally think to check—underneath the right door where the grinder and brewer sit. This is not just gross—it’s a serious health hazard. When we contacted the company, their response was dismissive and insulting: “You just need to clean it and make adjustments.”
Let me be clear: this is a design flaw, not user error. I’ve owned several machines over the years and none of them have ever been this unsanitary or this poorly engineered when it comes to internal airflow, drainage, and cleaning access.
If you already own this machine, I strongly urge you to open the right-side compartment and remove the grinder/brewer housing—look underneath. You may be shocked. If you’re considering buying this product, save yourself the frustration and the risk- DON’T!!!

This is very frustrating I have to…
This is very frustrating I have to write a review to get anything done. I have had my to-2 for three months now. It only worked for 2 months. I worked with Eduardo and the customer service was garbage before him and when he worked with me. After we identified it needed repair he said he would be sending me a box to return it. It’s been over a month now and I still haven’t received the box. I would rather return it and get my money back at this point. I recommended this to two others and am regretting it. They made me look bad.

I can’t give a one-star to this product as the coffee it prepares is decent (not consistent, though). My problem was with the brewing unit; it had to be replaced less than a year after buying, and then it got stuck for a second time less than six months after being replaced.
The design of the machine is beautiful; however, the quality of the materials (remarkable for the brewing unit and all of the other parts that need to be washed) is very poor.
Customer service is not genuinely concerned about your problem; yes, they always start with an exclamation mark and ‘nice’ words, but that leads to no solution and very, very, very slow answers. God forbid if you send a follow-up email because you hadn’t received any response, because then you’ll receive a very ‘nice’ response saying that they being late to respond was your fault for ‘sending multiple messages’.
Finally, their solution was to offer me upgrading to the new machine trading in my old machine (which I agreed to, even though it meant paying 895 USD plus my old machine). But then they changed the terms of the trading-in value at the end, arguing that their ‘finance department had restrained their offers’.
Horrible experience. I will show you my machine being dumped at Staples for recycling so you can decide whether or not to invest 1,700 USD in a machine that has the slight possibility of being non-functional in less than 2 years.
My horrible experience with customer service was led by Gabriel, whom I’ve read here that is not the best at what he does.
