Really helpful videos, with guidance on lots of different elements of labour and birth. It was useful to have access to them indefinitely so we could go back and watch any that we felt we needed to.... Ver más

My birth story unravelled 10/10 Course!
I honestly can’t recommend this course enough! Just the average first time mum, and haven’t got a fortune to spend on courses and genuinely felt petrified going into the final weeks of my pregnancy journey.. however when I found this online course, I couldn’t be more grateful. I only bought the course 4 days before my induction and I CRAMMED in all this information.. and I’m so glad I did!
I was induced at 38 weeks, due to Gestational Diabetes and a-lot of amniotic fluid. I went in on the Thursday morning, and after the second gel.. I was in told that conflicting information from two midwife’s saying that I should and shouldn’t get the next gel due to my contractions being ongoing.. this caused a lot of frustration but I remained calm and used my EBRAN. After then waiting for a doctor to confirm what was best, I went ahead with the final gel the next day and my waters soon broke.
11am my waters broke. With the breathing techniques I learnt, I went 5 hours without medication, then went to gas and air for 2 then asked for the epidural.
Now here’s the part that broke me.. the anaesthetist did the epidural, I laid down and twenty minutes later I’m feeling pain again.. this wasn’t normal.
So he came back on my request, he then repositioned the epidural, to which it worked but only for twenty minutes and then I was using the gas and air to take off the edge, I was in agony- to which the anaesthetist REFUSED to redo and told me “it’s just pressure.. not pain” (fyi never tell this to a pregnant woman in labour)
I used all the tools I knew and stood up for myself.. I was giving birth to this baby, not the man with the needle.
He grudgingly performed a new epidural and with this done correctly, I fell asleep for 5 hours!!
After waking up at 7am, I was told it was time to start pushing! I was given a limit of two hours to push before I would be taken for a c-section.. I was adamant not to go down this route due to solo parenting and the recovery- but whatever it took for my baby to be safe!
9:00am came and the head was half way out; but I just couldn’t do anymore.. so the team came in and offered me Ventouse, and after learning about it in the course.. I felt prepared enough to say ask questions and eventually say YES.
At 9:05am, my beautiful girl was born- an episiotomy later, stitching me up and 2 litres of blood lost- my baby stayed healthy and that was the most important part.
Recovery was hard. But without the bump to baby chapter I have no idea what I would’ve done.
Whether you’re late in your pregnancy or just beginning, it’s NEVER too late to get this course.
Thank you so much for everything

Lovely venue and class
Lovely venue and class, and the bump to baby staff were all to lovely and welcoming!!
Was really great to be able to do a taster, without committing to a full 5 week course! Thanks so much x
Empowering knowledge
We attended the bump2baby antenatal course plus followed the online course for both the birth and baby chapters.
I cannot recommend these courses enough. When it comes to being a first time mum Beth helps to take away any worries and arms you with the knowledge you need to have a positive birth experience. The courses are set out in easy to follow chunks allowing you to dip in and out as needed. This course will empower you to have the best birth experience possible. Thank you Beth ❤️
The Bump to Baby Chapter offers a…
The Bump to Baby Chapter offers a well-structured course that presents pregnancy and childbirth information in a digestible manner. It equips you with useful insights and options, though it can feel overwhelming at times. While it certainly provides confidence and knowledge for childbirth, some aspects seemed less relevant to my experience. It's a decent investment for first-time parents, especially if you're looking for guidance and reassurance during pregnancy. However, considering the cost, it might not be for everyone. A good course, but I'd recommend it with a note of caution about its practical value for every situation.
Being pregnant and preparing for both…
Being pregnant and preparing for both labour and parenting felt like cramming for the most important exam/s ever in a short 9 month window.
Not only did this course present the medical information of pregnancy and childbirth in a way that was bite sized and digestible, it empowered me with information I didn’t even know I needed, for the options available to me throughout pregnancy and armed me with insight as to potential labour experiences and the many directions childbirth could go in.
My birth experience went right off piste straight out the gate when my waters broke with meconium present prior to labour beginning. Not only was I already aware that this was possible (didn’t know it was a ‘thing’ 6 months ago!) I understood the direction my birth was likely to go in and was able to engage confidently with the midwives and consultants supporting me through my labour. It wasn’t the labour that I had envisaged, but I remained calm, informed and able to advocate for myself throughout and, through understanding, was on board with the interventions that took place.
Having babies can be expensive and I fell for hype and massively overspent on a lot of useless tat- but this course is a stand out for best return on investment of anything I bought in pregnancy.
If you’re pregnant, do the course. If your friends are pregnant, tell them to do the course. If your pregnant friend doesn’t look like they’re doing the course- buy it for them.
Utterly invaluable and forever appreciated.
I couldn't have done it without this course
After an induction and very traumatic first birth, I was even more keen second time round to do anything I could to have my "dream water birth". I watched all of the Bump to baby content in the months leading up to my son's birth. It filled me with all of the knowledge and confidence I felt I needed for when the time came. My labour was incredibly fast, but using the knowledge and EBRAN, my partner and I were able to navigate the various decisions along the way. I started contractions around 3.30pm, they ramped up quickly and I used my breathing to manage through them. By 8pm, we were heading to hospital, and after a quick examination and confirmation I was 5cm, we headed to the birthing pool at around 8.50pm. I went with my body and quite quickly started "blowing the candles out" before instinctively pushing - our son arrived at 9.18pm, much to the surprise of the midwife, who was prepping for a further examination! This course gave me everything I needed to have the confidence in my mind, and my body, that I could birth our baby boy. It was the most incredible experience, and I'm so grateful to have been able to experience it. Thank you doesn't cut it xxx
Fantastic course!
Fantastic course with well thought through videos covering everything needed to make a mum-to-be feel more confident and informed about birth and beyond!
I just wanted to say thank you so much…
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the bump to baby chapter. I had my first baby this week and couldn’t have asked for a better labour. I pretty much laboured on my own for 5 hours at home after my waters broke & ended up arriving at hospital fully dilated to have the perfect water birth. My husband thought I was so in control that he ended up trying to make porridge before leaving for the hospital - suffice to say the ping of the microwave didn’t go down well!!
We had booked onto NCT classes which were cancelled, so I signed up to the course fairly late on. It was so good to have the videos to refer to which not only helped me keep calm with my breathing but also allowed me to understand what my body was doing at each stage. Thank you again for helping bring our perfect little baby boy into the world from afar 💙
Wonderful course - Would recommend to all expectant parents
Beth is absolutely brilliant. We came away from the course having learnt so much, especially about our options. It's a very safe space, where everyone feels comfortable to ask questions, and both mothers and birth partners were welcomed and included equally. Our group was brilliant, and I would recommend the Bump to Baby Chapter to everyone.
Unbeatable - Amazing Experience
Beth is a phenomenal teacher who has channelled her experience, expertise and energy into creating an amazing course to empower new parents. We attended in person in Cheltenham and it has been nothing short of amazing in creating a safe space to learn, ask all the mad questions and meet new people. Despite being deeply knowledgeable, Beth’s superpower is also helping people to advocate for themselves and understanding their options. All that, and we had so much FUN! We laughed throughout and came away relaxed, educated and ready to take on whatever birth has for us.
Congratulations on creating such a wonderful service which we would recommend unreservedly to others wanting to learn, socialise and get ‘hands on’.
Beth’s antenatal course has been…
Beth’s antenatal course has been amazing, we’ve met some really lovely people and the classes were so informative, being a midwife she has so much knowledge and experience. The bump to baby hubb also has loads of classes that are going to be so useful when baby arrives
Beth’s course has enabled me to have a beautiful water birth.
I really recommend the videos and Beth adds new content regularly too! All topics are very engaging, super helpful and relevant. I watched all videos around the first and second trimester but came back to the relevant sessions in the last trimester. This was particularly helpful due to the clear structure. I had a very natural water birth at the midwife led unit at the hospital. Our boy came 15 days after the expected date but knowing what I’ve learnt from the course, I wasn’t worried and we waited without having an induction. Not everything went as planned but when the midwives have asked us about different procedures my partner and I knew what it meant and decided using the EBRAN toolkit. I’m so happy to have a lifelong access to this course as I will come back to it next time.
I would have liked to get a script with a guided meditation for my partner to read too me. There are guided meditations recorded by Beth.
Just brilliant …
I recently attended the in course Bump to Baby Chapter classes and they were amazing. They made my partner and I feel more informed and that no question was a stupid question. They answered everything we wanted to know. I liked doing the class in person in a small group as it felt very personal. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!!!
Thank you Beth!
The Bump to Baby Chapter was amazing in preparing me for birth. The knowledge and techniques in the videos helped me to feel calm and informed throughout a 62 hour first stage which started on Friday 29th and ended in a c-section on the 1st April. I would definitely recommend the course as the information provided really gives you the best start on the journey to parenthood and enables you to handle any setbacks and get the most out of the birth experience. Whilst my birth didn’t go to plan, I was able to make the most of it and enjoy welcoming my baby girl to the world thanks to Beth. Now onto the Birth Chapter!
Highly recommend!
Honestly the best money I’ve ever spent! I purchased the Bump to Baby course 2 years ago when I was first pregnant with my son and felt it included everything I needed to know to prepare me for child birth. Because I was prepared I felt so much more relaxed going into the unknown journey I was about to embark on. I actually recommend it to all my pregnant friends now not to mention it’s so cheap in comparison to other courses! So definitely worth the value! The great thing is I’m 22 weeks pregnant again now with my second and I’m able to review all the material from the course again. Highly recommend!
Educational and empowering ❤️
Loved this and wished I'd found it with my first child. Super educational and a good section on vbacs and talking in ways that made sense. Really empowering ❤️
Great well-structured content
Great content and easy to sign-up to. I have referred to the baby chapter videos regularly since having my child and even watched some of the bump chapter whilst in the hospital to get additional information on the procedures I was about to have. I find the videos informative, easy to understand and well structured with a nice summary at the end of each. I would highly recommend.
The best purchase we made to prepare for birth
The Bump Chapter and Baby Chapter really helped us to prepare for the birth of our first. Beth's clear and helpful videos were such a wonderful resource and we fully intend on watching them before our second is born in a few months! Lifetime access and the ability to do the course in your own time really worked for us and our busy schedules. We tell everyone we know who is pregnant about it. Thank you Beth for creating such a great resource for expectant parents.
