The whole process is made very easy for from the ordering,the delivery and especially the way the recipes are laid out loved the experience and will definitely be purchasing again

Had this sent to me as a gift , cooking the food was so much fun and would recommend anyone to try the experience at least once . Cards were easy to follow and we were very impressed with the quality of the food

We ordered 2 meals - and didn't enjoy either particularly. They were also a LOT harder to cook than the instructions led us to beleive. One in particular took about 3 times as long to cook! The instructions between the different recepies and how to split the ingredients were not easy to follow. I found the whole thing quite stressful and I'm a decent cook! Also the packaging was insane.... for one dish I was left with a mountain of plastic! Expensive and not a great experience. Wouldn't recommend or buy again.

This was received as a gift and what a lovely gift it was.
The instructions and ingredients were excellent and the finished product tasted fantastic. There is a fair anount of choice as a vegetarian so was quite happy with that. The only mark down was due to the price. £45 for paella with delivery for 2 is a lot of money and so I would not buy this for myself because of that. I cannot fault the food though.

I cooked beef wellington from cook away. I’m not a very experienced cook, and I have never made beef wellington before. It came out perfect. The ingredients provided were very high quality, and the meat was fantastic!

Food was great, instructions were clear and easy to understand. It was a shame that DPD failed to deliver on the day requested. Cookaway were helpful in resolving the issue and we got our delivery on our second choice of date

I had the paella; overall the dish was tasty but some of the ingredients were not of good standard: the broad bean and the artichokes. I swapped the broad bean for a better brand one and I trimmed the artichoke as the tips and outer leaves were hard.

Great company. Ordering and delivery was really smooth. We had the Japanese taster box for 6-8. Fantastic quality ingredients and super clear instructions. Made the evening a real event.

I tried to order the new parent Cook gift card from the company Cook, using the search term 'cook voucher' so I could have a few freezer meals after having a baby. I accidentally landed on CookAaway via a sponsored Google advert by mistake. I proceed to order a £75 voucher (newborn exhaustion 🫠) and literally just as I pressed pay realised I wasn't on the right website. I immediately (moments after purchase) emailed the company to explain I had ordered the voucher by mistake and could I have a refund but they came back the following day to say they could not process a refund as gift cards are non refundable and 'thanks for understanding'. We have had back and forth since and whilst ultimately I did buy the voucher, I did not mean too (I could cry at the idea of meal prepping a recipe box after giving birth), I do not want it and I immediately tried to rectify the error to be met with a really unhelpful service. I am now down £75 which is a significant cost for me. I feel most decent companies would have just have deactivated the voucher and refunded the money with no harm done. I have never left a poor review for any company before and the fact I am bothering to do one really does reflect how poor I think this is!

Just to reiterate again, I messaged you about 4 seconds after I made the mistaken purchase to ask for my money back. You absolutely are covered by your Ts&Cs for your gift card - it is non refundable...I didn't mean to buy it...I bought it via an advert which made me think I was purchasing from another brand and immediately tried to get my money back. I believe most decent brands would have tried to help in this situation regardless of Ts&Cs to be honest as a gesture of goodwill. I really don't see how just helping me rectify the issue would have been anything other than the decent thing to do.

I am entitled to try and get my money back. Your language around suggesting I am 'unfair to a family business/small brand
' by stating I want to seek input about whether I can get a refund based on the evidence I provided to show the purchase was a mistake and was influenced by a pay per click advert is really odd and defensive. You have been very clear you don't think there is an issue here so it should be absolutely no bother to you if I seek advise to see if I could get my money back...which I am sure you are right you are covered by your Ts&Cs so I probably won't be able too. I am also entitled to leave a review based on my experience with your company.

I won't be using or regifting the voucher, thank you. Enjoy my £75 - thanks for all your help

Delicious Greek Souvlaki at home!
I absolutely loved the Souvlaki kit from Cookaway! The ingredients were super fresh, and the flavours transported me straight to Greece. The recipe was easy to follow, and the whole experience felt like a mini getaway at home. A fun and delicious way to try something new – highly recommend!

Food was delivered and packed with care ensuring all the goods were kept cool and fresh. Excellent quality. Everything included that we needed for our meal. Delicious recipe and enjoyed enormously. Will definitely be ordering again sometime, for ourselves and as gifts. Thank you for an excellent dining experience.

Really lovely food, clear instructions. Good flavours.
Main issue was my chicken went off after 2 days - probably needed cooked straight away. Easily replaced.

The whole experience was fantastic! From the way the food was packaged, to listening to the personalised playlist, to how easy the instructions were to follow. Me and my boyfriend cooked this together as a date night and it was so much fun!

I have had nothing to do with Cookaway. Apparently, an IT glitch now has me as a customer. I have asked to be taken off emails etc but I'm still getting them.

Can’t fault this brand for their attention to detail - it’s such a lovely experience and the food is delicious

Giedre was fantastic and personable. She went out of her way to arrange a further afield delivery, and to send a birthday gift email on a Sunday (also replying to me and resending said email after I gave her the wrong address😬).
It perhaps seems expensive (I ordered the Japanese experience) but when you see and taste the quality and quantity of the food, it really isn't. My brother was over the moon and I really couldn't recommend Cookaway enough.
