We ordered a round prism dining table in limed solid oak from the Crafty Couple with a base crafted from Sheffield steel. It is absolutely beautiful. James, Sarah and Charlotte went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our table. It was a big investment for us and totally worth it. We recently moved to Sheffield and wanted to support local small businesses. So glad we did as we have a custom piece of furniture that will definitely outlast us!

Beautiful shelves and superb service! I fitted the extra wide rustic shelves, instead of wall cupboards, in my kitchen - absolutely perfect - so many compliments - I love them!

Wow, what a breath of fresh air this company is. Fantastic quality, great value and most of all exceptional customer service. Charlotte was super responsive when I had questions whilst placing an order and they happily made some amendments to the product to make it what I needed. She also stepped in when the third party delivery company messed up the delivery and made sure it arrived on time. Really couldn’t ask for more, I’ll 100% be ordering again.

I would 100% recommend Crafty couple. I researched dining tables/benches for weeks and came across crafty couple and so pleased I did from initially taking about what I wanted to it being delivered the commutation was brilliant I was kept updated the whole time. Very happy with the whole process, kept well informed by email and message prior to delivery. Lovely limed solid oak console table, looks quality and classy. Ordered 9th December so a bit disappointed it didn’t come before Christmas but longer lead time on oak products. Well worth the wait, love it.

Absolutely love my rustic shelves, even better in real life. Ordered them just after Christmas and received them the day after the crafty couple opened there shop after the Xmas period. My dad had no problem putting them up for me.

I was looking for a particular colour mantel which would compliment the colour scheme in my living room. And found it with Thecraftycouple. They even had various samples which you could order which helped make my decision as colours can often be misleading online.

My mantel is a bespoke mantel so they were very accommodating in getting it right for me. When my mantel artived it was faulty, which happened during transit. Crafty Couple very kindly collected the mantel to repair, they ended up replacing it for a new 1.
Throughout my journey from choosing my mantel to having it installed, Crafty Couple have been thorough and consistent not to mention polite in keeping me informed through emails which made my purchase very personal.

When the mantel did come back to me, my carpenter couldn't install it. Crafty Couple offered to come all the way down to London bearing in mind their based in Sheffield and install it for me, free of charge.
Now thats exceptional customer service for you. When he arrived he was friendly, diligent and very customer orientated.

Wonderful set of shelves really delighted. My only concern was the screws and plugs were too short for the weight of the shelves, this is only a very minor point. Love them!

My dining table and shelves are good quality, The Crafty Couple helped me select the right wood finish to match my existing scheme and delivery was really fast. I would definitely order again.

We recently ordered bespoke shelves. We sent photographs taken from the Crafty Couples Etsy & website to ask what finish they were so that we could select that exact finish. We were told the finish in those images and that they now use a new wax process. We weren’t told that this wax process altered the colour of the finish.

We were also offered samples, but given the seller confirmed the finish in writing this negated the need for samples for us.

When the shelves arrived they were a totally different finish, much much darker than the images from their website. And the seller has claimed that this is a misunderstanding that they are not at fault for due to their new wax process.

We haven’t been offered a refund or an exchange by the seller and they haven’t offered any other advice on how the selves could be rectified and communication has ceased.

Whilst we love supporting small businesses, and we acknowledge the quality of the shelves, they’re completely wrong and we are £500 out of pocket. Advice for any future customers of the Crafty Couple would be to have them triple confirm finishes as the misinformation we’ve been given has resulted in a wasted purchase.

I have recently had my Omni table hand crafted and made with love and delivered finally put it up today and I am instantly in love with it ❤️ Thankyou so much im sure I will be back after something else soon .

We searched online for the perfect dining table to give our new build home a bit of character - and to last the duration of family life. We came across The Crafty Couple and after quite a few emails back and forth, with us asking a lot of questions (thanks Charlotte!), we chose a herringbone design, hand-crafted in oak, with a bespoke tint to add depth to the wood grain. We are SO thrilled with the finished product. Not only does it look fantastic, it's so tactile and gives our dining and kitchen space the character it needed.
This table is with us for the long term. We'll have so many lovely memories around it!

Very nice shelves, week made and finished with excellent fittings. Missing brackets lost in transit (damaged packaging) swiftly replaced by great customer service team
