Do NOT order their sleep test but save your money!
Do NOT order their sleep test but save your money - Daybreak sleep apnea medical provider sleep test is a scam! I would give 0 if I could. A complete scam! I ordered and paid for the home sleep test and after 2 nights got the message that results aren't conclusive and I need to do another 2 nights. Since I was traveling I wanted to do it a week later. After 5 days I get a message and email that the the results are available (??) and I should schedule a call with a 'doctor'. Nobody called me at my first appointment, but several messages before and after this date to call me, which never worked out. When someone finally called me, he asked for the problems I have: "None". "Well, do you snore?" "No" "Any other sleep problems?" "No, I'm just tired in the mornings and wanted to do this test." After this, he told me that everything is ok, I don't have sleep apnea and I don't need any device. Right after this, he asked me again if I snore. "No!" He wasn't happy about this but stayed polite. After this call, where we both agreed that I don't have sleep apnea, I am fine and don't need any sleep device, Daybreak sends me regular messages and emails with reminders to go forward with my "prescribed oral appliance to treat your sleep apnea". The 'Financial Aid Team' wants to walk me through my insurance coverage, FSA/HSA options and payment plans.
In the beginning, I answered "I don't have sleep apnea = no device needed", then blocked messages. I still get the occasional email, but don't answer. This whole "sleep test" is a scam!
