Soooo disappointed
I actually hate having to leave a bad review but I am so disappointed in these guys. I have bought from them before and had an excellent experience from placing my order right through to the speedy delivery, however this time I feel really let down. I picked the tip I wanted, went to check out and there's no option for mastercard?? (I have had this card foisted upon me by my bank, it was not my choice!) Tried 3 times before I sent an email asking why my order was being refused, I got a swift reply telling me they "refuse to accept any sale via mastercard due to the extortionate fees they incur" I can only imagine the thousands of sales they've actually lost with this and the many customers like myself who are now all of a sudden part of a leper colony because our banks made a decision whether we liked it or not. I am a housebound customer and it's just not that simple to get to a shop for a replacement, I rely solely on online shopping and deliveries. It seems very unfair to me that customers are penalised for something totally outwith their control and I'm left wondering how extortionate can the charges actually be for a £3.99 item?? The particular item I wanted is out of stock everywhere else so I'm right outta luck. I think this is an issue sellers should take up legally with mastercard and find a better resolution rather than just refusing buyers point blank. I wish my review could have been a good one but I reiterate, punishing customers for a nationwide decision from the banks is just not ethical in my humble opinion.
