If you have ever booked a holiday based upon pictures in a brochure or on a website and the reviews it has, it's fantastic, and rare, when you arrive to find it better than you expect!
Well that was the case for us as a family last year, when we stayed in 'Bramble'.
However this year, again staying in 'Bramble', what did we find? We were absolutely delighted to find everything the same! The property has obviously been very well looked after so was as clean and fresh as it was last year :-)
There were still the lovely little touches that go above and beyond and the attention we received was again, 'nothing is too much trouble'.
You know the feeling when you have been away and you return home and feel comfortable and relaxed in your own environment... that's the feeling we got when we arrived at 'Bramble'!

So making the decision to come back again was definitely the right one!

Luxury on another level, rare experience to combine this with accessibility. Just 20 mins into Cleveleys and 30 mins to lovely Lytham. Cafe and hydro/sensory near by which is an added bonus. Changing places toilet 3 mins drive away (next to the cafe.) The owners contacted me before hand to give me all the information needed to ensure our stay went smoothly. Dogs allowed for a small fee. Decking surrounds the property which allowed us to sit outside and soak in the view and pass tranquil moments. Exceptional!

I recently visited for a long weekend and my Mother's face when she opened the door was priceless! The chalet was spotless with everything you could think of. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living space was perfect. The views were also stunning - we spent hours looking for the hare and her babies. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into making this place perfect! We will be visiting again!

What a stunning place. The house was spotless, the views stunning and the thought to detail for assessibility and everything else was spot on. This was most stocked home and thoughtful host I have come across on my UK staycations. The equipment and design made is sk easy for us to take my grandma and for her to enjoy a break. We are so grateful to have found thr Estuary and will definitely be back.

Luxury, comfort, immaculately clean and accessible too! We have really enjoyed our break at Bramble. The chalet had everything we needed and more (my husband is full time wheelchair user) - the voice activated blinds were a real novelty! The peace and quiet was great, we sat on the wrap-around balcony and enjoyed the beautiful views over the estuary with a glass or two - so lovely! The owners were great - nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely care about making sure their guests have the best experience whilst on holiday. Can definitely recommend this place - we've already booked our next stay!

This is just WOW! From start to finish our holiday was made more special with staying here - excellent communication when required with the hosts.
The accommodation is faultless, not something I've ever written before. Lovely modern throughout with every little detail thought of. You don't have to have physical disabilities to stay here but if you require any form of equipment the hosts have a very long list of 30+ to accommodate your requirements and these can be put in place in time for your arrival. The chalet is in a rural and peaceful location with views to the estuary. The hosts have supplied a folder with all the info you require and although there are many gadgets in the chalet, everything is easy to use. We feel spoilt staying here, wish every host were as conscientious as Elaine and Tony. 5*****

We stayed in Property No1 Blackberry

We stayed at the Brambles 4 nights in mid may lovely accommodation and amenities for our client, weather wasn't the best but we managed to pack a lot of days out in surrounding areas would highly recommend them.

Just spent a delightful 4 nights in Bramble. It was so relaxing to sit on the decking in such a beautiful, peaceful location, watching the hares and listening to the birds. The chalet was clean, comfortable and well equipped, catering perfectly for the varied needs of all visitors. We enjoyed lovely dog-walks from the doorstep as well as day trips to the seaside, Blackpool and Lake Windermere. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful place!

Fantastic experience, great facilities within the lodge.
Clean modern great hands gadgets.

A truly hidden gem the owners have gone above and beyond to make these chalets totally accessible for all and no expense spared !! We will absolutely be returning customers with our son who’s a full time wheelie .The chalet was amazing and you could easily stay for any length of time .The owners are always on hand if you need anything all you have to do is ask . This has been the best place we have ever stayed with regards to accessibility and comfort for our son ,as a family this makes such a difference to our holiday experience as our son is a huge part of our decision making , we all came home truly rested and recharged ! It’s so peaceful and relaxing our son normally is up a few times a night but he slept all night here ! You will not be disappointed if you choose to book here ☺️

An absolutely beautiful lodge with everything you could want or need. I have a child with complex health needs and as a family it felt so normal. The decking has lovely views over the Wyre estuary and lots of lovely places for a day out near by. Loved it and will definately go back. Oh and the kids loved all the gadgets!

We stayed in Blackberry - Spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more. Staying away from home with a severely disabled young adult can be a major challenge but Blackberry had everything to make the stay easier. Great attention to detail. We loved the star lights projector. Will definitely return

We stayed in Bramble for the week before Easter. Our daughter is a full time wheelchair user. The space and the access provided by the bedroom and en suite accessible bathroom has been very well thought out and the finishing’s are all of a very high quality. Also, the provision of a profiling bed and the Molift 150 portable hoist allowed us to travel lighter than we usually do.

The lounge/diner/kitchen is spacious, accessible, and usable with modern appliances and how to use instructions (all detailed in a convenient and comprehensive guide). The other two bedrooms are very spacious and an accessible second bathroom is an excellent idea if more than one guest requires ease of access (great for aging guests as well).

The chalet is equipped with a washer/dryer and a dishwasher with enough crockery and cutlery to meet the needs of 6 persons. The small touches of oils, condiments, foils and plastic wrap all added to the sense that Elaine and Tony have really thought about what will work for guests using the chalet. Even the robot vacuum cleaner makes sense. The few times we did need additional support, Elaine provided the responses we needed in a timely manner.

Access into the chalet and onto the decking is very usable, and provides wonderful outside views complimenting those from the large floor to ceiling windows. Watching the exploits of the resident hare in the field down to the estuary each morning was great, especially as there is a pair of binoculars available to guests.

The site can be approached in three ways. We found access via New Road to be the easiest.

The concept being delivered by the host really hits the mark. Guests with a disability really are catered for, though it is equally well suited to those without special needs.

We would highly recommend this to anybody who needs an accessible holiday chalet. The property ticks all of the right boxes, has been well thought out, well executed, and deserves the description of a luxury chalet.

We were able to visit many of the local attractions (including some great golf courses for me) as well as the local villages and some great local pubs which we would highly recommend.

We will certainly be returning and can only applaud the venture which Elaine and Tony have provided.

Had a wonderful short break. Great they were able to provide all the accessible equipment so we didn’t have to bring it. Will definitely be back.

A real home from home. The chalet is above and beyond any usual accessible accommodation. You usually get wheelchair access and a pull down seat in a shower but at Wyre estuary they have a list of equipment as well as wet rooms, profiling beds as standard. Elaine is always available and she checks in with you prior to arrival to check what you might need. We stayed with our 17 year old son and were able to care for him to the same standard we would at home. The chalets are not just for disabled guests. They are high end accommodation for any visitor. They are in stunning surroundings. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely stay! The place is located with a beautiful view, stunning interior and pristine clean on arrival. Beds are the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in. All very modern, gorgeous place

We had an electrical fire at home at 4pm on 3rd November and we had to vacate our home at short notice. My son is disabled and a wheelchair user and so could not access family accommodation. I made contact with Elaine as a first time user of the chalet to see if there was any availability. I was fortunate in that Elaine could accommodate my son and his care team for three nights. Elaine was super helpful on the phone and agreed to make her way to the chalet to ensure the heating would be on and ready for my son arriving. She offered to get some milk in for us and asked if there was anything else she should do to help me given our difficult circumstances. She kindly provided a projector for my son to use.

The chalet we stayed in was Bramble. It is an absolutely stunning and large property. It had a profiling bed and wet room for my son’s use. The property is full of mod cons and the views were beautiful over The Estuary.

Elaine and her husband were super friendly and incredibly helpful particularly when I stupidly parked on a grassed area (despite plenty of parking) which resulted in my car getting stuck in the boggy grassed area. Elaine and her husband and a friendly local all helped move my car to see me on my onward journey.

I would most definitely recommend the riverside Chalets to families with or without accessible requirements as the owners are kind, friendly and helpful, the views are beautiful, the area peaceful and the accommodation stunning.

I could live there!
