In preparation for an A-level geography exam that would determine my predicted grades for university, I found myself struggling with exam technique and a Geography teacher who was good, but had little time to help me with technique, or to mark my 20 markers. Furthermore, I only had one and a half weeks to learn the content/ revise for the exam and felt that the A star grade would be unachievable with such a small window of time. I was looking for a week of ‘intensive’ Geography help, and TheGeographyTutor made communication very easy. I particularly appreciated their availability and organisation. As for the tutoring, both Elizabeth Marriot and Paul were phenomenal and extremely helpful in teaching exam techniques. Within a week, I took around 5-6 sessions (although more were available), and this was sufficient to teach me how to answer all kinds of 4,6 and 20 markers with CIE geography A-Level. I must also mention that the tutors cover all the Geography exam boards I could think of. Elizabeth Marriott was even a marker for the Cambridge International geography exam Board, which was extremely helpful and rare (as I couldn’t find another tutor website that even knew it!). After this week, I took my exam and achieved an A star, despite having less than two weeks to prepare. I couldn’t recommend them more! Thank you.

We first used this company to find a geography GCSE tutor, which proved difficult to find in our area. We were connected with a very well qualified teacher who is now providing the odd session to help with A level geography in year 12 too. Our daughter was adament she wanted to stick with Helen.

I contacted Seb before Xmas to enquire about A level geography tuition for my son as recent mocks showed where he needed some extra help. From the point of making the initial enquiry and setting up lessons Seb was extremely helpful & the whole process was seamless and we decided to go with extra sociology tuition too.
Although it’s still early days with the tuition my son has nothing but positive feedback for the lesson structure, content & his tutors.

We were lucky enough to have this company recommended to us by our Daughters Science teacher prior to her taking her GCSE’s. We had an hour long session by video call per week which focussed on Physics and Chemistry and was tailored to her needs. It lifted her grades and got her where she needed to be to move forward with her A levels. I should also say that it was easy to pay, move sessions if needed or cancel if you let them know in good time.

Our son, achieved an A* for his A level Geography re take (having obtained a high B in his original A levels). The Geography Tutor matched our son with one of their excellent tutors who developed a rapport and coached him on exam technique to achieve to his full potential.

The Geography tutor platform provided an expert tutor who helped my son with the Cambridge international Geography Alevel syllabus ( which is quite a niche area) Help was enormous and raised his grades massively. Cant praise enough

This has been money well spent! My daughter took Geography as an option in 5th year and was really struggling to understand the terms, topics and even the language used. Her tutor Paul was honestly amazing! He explained things in a way she was able to understand, he got her to think about the subject and topics not just going over them briefly. She went from dreading lessons at school to enjoying them more because she understood the subjects and assessments. I didn’t think a tutor would have as much of a positive impact on her, but her confidence has grown, she was even wanting to study. The tutor himself was brilliant! He took time with her, encouraged her to find the answers instead of just giving them to her, and made sure she had an understanding of the subject. It was magic! Would recommend this to anyone.
